When I purchased my home from Pulte Homes, the process went smoothly and I was pleased with the overall experience.
However, things changed when Pulte began building the home next door. This is our second home, so we weren’t there full-time. When we returned for a weekend visit, I found a significant mess on my property — nails on my driveway and near my backyard window, concrete chunks along my pathway and in my landscaping rocks, stucco chips, foam, plastic, and splatter on my windows and concrete. There were also forklift tracks on my driveway.
I have photos and videos documenting their crew working next door and crossing onto my property. Despite this, Nathan L. from Pulte did not take any responsibility or offer even a basic apology.
While the homebuying process was fine, my experience after construction next door has been extremely disappointing. If you are purchasing from Pulte, be aware that if they build near your home, they may not take accountability for damage caused during their construction.
