- NWNancy Wright4 days ago1.0just to make everyone aware that may deal with clayton homes for their ADU plans or home. They do not warranty their product. My shower cracked and they said that its not covered past 30 days! Most companies give a year at least! For clarification it is not the Manteca location. It is the Sacramento location and if I am wrong I will edit this again. I am really upset about the poor warranty service and want everyone to be aware.

From there, I was bounced between multiple departments in Merced County, each giving me different instructions on what was required for the permit. I reached out to HCD in Sacramento, spoke with manufacturers, and even contacted C47 contractors who offered help, for a steep price; but all roads led to dead ends. Eventually, I began contacting businesses that sold modular homes, hoping someone could point me in the right direction. That’s when I connected with Sergio Cruz, the manager at Clayton Homes. He listened patiently and truly understood how overwhelming and confusing this process can be. After I shared the information I had about my home, he was able to provide the exact documentation I needed. What impressed me most is that Sergio had no obligation to help me, there was no benefit to him in doing so. Given that, I can only imagine how outstanding his service would be for someone actually purchasing a home through Clayton Homes. Thank you!!!!
