  So far so good. On-going maintenance of AC, cleanliness are visible. They provide some events with delicious snacks is something… friendly people around and no smoking definitely which I like.

  Another hastily built complex with no consideration for the actual residents. You will absolutely hear your neighbors, you will walk way further than you think to park, you will over pay for your deceptively small living space. While this building looks nice and new, it is completely over shadowed by the things mentioned before. The build quality is absolute trash, another example of "Cheapest Fastest". The walls might as well be made of paper and the electronic based access system is annoying and often more frustrating than convenient. I can guarantee you the person who approved it doesn't actually use it themselves. There is NO ONSITE PARKING and they still expect YOU TO PAY for inconveniently located, offsite parking. This alone should dissuade you from living here if you drive. I encourage any prospective residents reading this to do the walk with a heavy bag or two, do the walk with a weeks worth of groceries, do the walk with an oversized item. It absolutely sucks. The only saving grace here is Dillon. It actually seems like he cares and makes an effort to make changes when possible.

  I had a short-term lease here for an internship at a nearby hospital, and I absolutely loved my time at Skylar. Dillon went above and beyond for me before I even moved in (extremely hospitable and accommodating). The lounge is stunning, gym has what you need for an effective workout, beautiful views from both decks. Events for residents were a great touch (got to meet building owners w/ a huge spread of food and drinks; another casual event offered free coffee/ lattes/ teas). Although there was no parking for residents, the managers were always willing to help me park temporarily during moving a multitude of times. Noelle + Paul were also very kind and accommodating! I especially recommend leasing here if you are affiliated with one of the nearby hospitals (ie: CHLA, Kaiser LAMC, Hollywood Presbyterian, etc.), the convenience is unmatched.
