- MMMs. MellymelJan 10, 20235.0This was my home in the late 90s. I knew I had made it when I was vouched for by tenants to rent an apt. Such a wonderful place. I remember clearly when the big tree by the front door decided one very early morning to drop off, blocking Franklin completely, and smash a poor delivery truck just starting it’s work day. We all took pictures sitting on the branch that looked more like a tree due to length & girth. Pucs used to hang in the lobby. I remember roof top grilling. I remember my going away party in the lobby and the group sing-a-long to All the Leaves Are Brown. I remember Eric Stoltz (all chill in his jaunty scarf & elbow patched corduroy blazer) knocking on my door my last day looking for the new tenant. I remember seeing the Stone Temple Pilots play a surprise show at the Dragonfly my last night. I remember listening to Under the Bridge as I drove through downtown’s mix master highway on my way out of town. Viva La VC!! Old Tenant c. 1998-99
