Do NOT move here!! I would give this place -10 stars if I could. I lived here for 2 years and it was nothing but miserable. The unit I moved into had a cockroach infestation and management wouldn’t do anything about it for over 6 months until I sat in the office all day and refused to leave. When they finally checked, there was a giant hole in the wall behind the oven that had been there since before I moved in!! I had a leak in my ceiling where water was streaming down and maintenance didn’t even check for mold. There was a time when guests were parking inside the gate without a pass leaving no parking for residents, and management didn’t check to tow the people without parking pass, they towed the residents! The photos look nothing like the actual units and there’s homeless people everywhere that easily get through the gate and dig through the trash. I’ve seen homeless people shower in the trash cans. The worst part was I had a neighbor who moved in and was constantly causing chaos and making noise. I complained (along with other neighbors) and had recorded evidence and management never did anything about it, never gave them a warning, or talked to them. I would call security almost daily and it got to the point where they blocked my phone number, but of course security never showed up to talk to my neighbor either. The management is absolutely horrid here there’s no communication and you can’t rely on them for anything. If they tell you they will do something they will not and will not follow up. They used to have a month to month policy and changed it back to a full lease with only giving me 3 days notice which should be illegal. Someone ran into the gate and when they changed the gate, management changed the locks and didn’t inform anyone that the locks changed. Nothing is easy with this management and they didn’t even give me my deposit back in a timely manner, also illegal! Definitely not a livable place no matter how cheap.

Believe all the other bad reviews about this place, it's all true. There is not only a roach infestation but a mice infestation as well. Always homeless around, the other day saw three masked gang members asking around for someone's apartment number and then 5 minutes later someone got attacked according to the Citizen app.
This place got a new owner yet again and this one is the worst yet. They have even worse management somehow, they lost everyone's leases and made us turn in as much information about us as possible including our tax info and all of our assets. The only thing good about this place used to be the maintenance staff but they all got fired and replaced with staff that ignores work orders and nothing gets fixed, admittedly they look like cheap workers. We used to have reserved parking spaces but apparently they were taken away and now every new resident is told to park wherever and now all neighbors are furious about this especially because people are disrespectful and rude when there are no rules, never in my long long time living here have we had an issue like this until the new owner showed up. Paying rent got more annoying with the portal used for it going down for a while without notice. The management here by the way will never give you notice about anything, including renovations like painting, they cannot be bothered with putting up papers or sending out emails.
They claimed to want to reserve our parking spots again but many months later and no news about that, the parking here is terrible now and you will have to resort to parking outside of the property which is risky because it will have to be in the nearby neighborhood a good walk away where there are also homeless always around. When we asked the management about our reserved parking they told us to get ahold of a patrol guard to do something about it but when we finally got to talk to a guard that is when we learned that our reserved spots were just taken away without any notice.
There are also laundry machines here for residents, however the only way to use them is through an app that is also known for being terrible. This app has led to the theft of our money. Either the app's company will steal your money by way of charging you 2 or 3 times for one machine use and will not refund your money when you attempt to get one, but a neighbor lost $30 because her account was suddenly gone along with the money in here app wallet, because yes this app has its own wallet that you need to deposit money into. But also there have been 3 instances where another resident has used someone else's money to start up their laundry machine and we are still unsure if this was intentional by the other resident or if the app is just that glitchy, and I say unknown because of course the management did not help with this problem yet again and they will not switch to a different method of paying for using these machines.
The security here is essentially nonexistent, there is no sense of security here. There will be a patrol that will show up once in a blue moon and besides that, that is the only security here which is why anyone can come and go and do as they please. There was even a homeless man just standing around in one of the stairways, later there was piss in that stairway. The only entrance gate for vehicles also will breakdown half the time leaving us vulnerable to any criminals. Even when it works there will be someone in their car waiting at the gate creating more of a blockage and frustration for people who actually live here and have a remote to the gate. One time someone even stole my neighbor's car battery. Remember you are not safe here.
You will have a terrible time here. Please avoid this place like the plague and maybe they will take notice and either sell to someone better or improve the place.

Posting anonymously. Lived here for a few years, and moved out a couple months ago. This place is extremely roach infested. We had a very very bad infestation for a long time. They were living in the electrical outlets and the walls. You would see their legs poking out of the sockets and moving around. They recently got under new ownership and the communication is the worst I’ve ever seen. No answers to call or emails. It’s a new employee every time I enter the office, and they all say they are temps so they don’t really know what’s going on. I understand a transition period between ownerships but it ridiculous. Soooo frustrating. Also, the model apartment they show you does not look like the real units. So be careful!

I don't know what's been more difficult living there or trying to get my security deposit back. The place has had so many new owners I can never find who to contact when in need. Also been waiting on my security deposit return for 4 months.

Beware !!! Security deposits don’t get paid back , work order requests don’t get done . The buildings are completely roach infested. No email response and never a call back! Aperto is the worst property management company only cares about money coming in ! Very very cheap so will always be understaffed , Edith will never help with property problems as she doesn’t respond to emails or calls anyone back.
