I guess it's alright. The apartment is somewhat poorly managed, especially the laundry room; dryers work like a roulette machine. Glad I moved out though.

This is an OK place to live for the price.
Cons: (1) There were some problems with termites, but maintenance was responsive to our requests. (2) Most of the washing machines didn’t work properly, but there was always at least one washer and one dryer that worked. Management sends tenants a refund if they paid for a washer that was malfunctioning, which is nice. (3) The apartment was not completely clean or repaired when I moved in. For example, the threshold between the kitchen tile and the living room flooring was broken. (4) The Silton Group people, at least those based at the Wilshire office in Westwood, can seem quite unapproachable and unenthusiastic.
Pros: (1) The location is great (e.g. it is a 2-minute walk to 99 Ranch and Westwood Park; very easy to access almost any bus line in Westwood; close to a 405 entrance). (2) It has a decent price, certainly much better than what the RW Selby apartments down the street are asking for. (3) It is a quiet community and neighborhood. (4) Management does background checks on all applicants.
Verdict: This is a good option if you know you want to live south of Wilshire in Westwood and need to find housing fast. Otherwise, I might recommend a more extensive housing search.

A decent place to live in but the amount of problems with the building is rather high for an apartment within the price range. Elevators used to break down on a weekly basis, so residents could probably only use it 1-2 days a week. After weeks of continuous breakdowns, they finally got someone to come and take a look at it and found out that they needed to replace logic board. The glass doors into the apartment was shattered due to a break-in and packages stolen (technically not the building’s fault) but 5 months later and the doors still have not been replaced. The garage was also broken into. The hot water has gone out 4 times in 4 months, the last 3 times within the span of maybe 3 weeks. Be prepared to be shocked by the freezing cold shower water and stock up on cold medicine. There have also been issues with the cables (for internet connection set up) within the building walls. Laundry machines do not always work well, sometimes clothes come out super soaked. Some dryers are out of order too. Apocalyptic vibes out here fr, good luck.

Honestly thought this was a nice building when I first moved in but let me tell u it’s all a facade. The exterior is nice yes, but there is no manager on site which is a huge problem and no one to get in contact with what so ever regarding any problems. The street is extremely loud and there is a constant problem with homeless people yelling at night and sleeping in the garage. Yes, several times I went to my car and smelled urine and finally had confirmation of a homeless person sleeping where the cars were I called whatever number is listed for Park Rochester and no one contacted until 5 days later. Yes literally 5 days I’m sorry this living environment is not safe especially for how over priced it is. Laundry machines are never serviced so every time u do laundry the machine either ruins my clothes and leaves them absolutely soaked or never runs period. People should know u do not get what you pay for.
