- KKKevinSep 16, 20255.0I used to live here for several years before COVID, and I quite enjoyed it. Living in LA is expensive, and this place offers affordable and furnished micro apartments in a cool area of Little Tokyo. The rooms are pretty small, but I was never bothered by it and found it to be cozy. If you're living with someone else, then it may not be as comfortable, but for it's perfectly fine if you're by yourself.. There are shared washers and drying machines, which I don't remember how much they cost, but I remember being able to pay using credit card. The only thing I didn't like as much was that you had to pick up your mail from the manager on-site, but I'm assuming they installed mailboxes for every unit by now. Also note, some of these reviews are for Little Tokyo Hotel, which is an older hotel with private rooms and shared bathrooms (I've stayed there before as well). Mikado and Little Tokyo Hotel are not the same place.

- FGFrancis GonzalesFeb 16, 20231.0Mikado Hotel Little Tokyo: air conditioning was not working for 42 days from early July 2022 through mid-August 2022 (grounds for a negligence lawsuit) and 20 days from mid-April 2022 to early May 2022. Air conditioning and heating don't work for at least eight days every month, the washers and dryers do not work 3-14 days every month, and Cannon Management acts like they cannot do anything to fix it. Do not apply nor live at Mikado Hotel Little Tokyo at all. I have been a resident here for 1 year and two months and am leaving in the next two weeks.
