- KKKevinSep 16, 20255.0I used to live here for several years before COVID, and I quite enjoyed it. Living in LA is expensive, and this place offers affordable and furnished micro apartments in a cool area of Little Tokyo. The rooms are pretty small, but I was never bothered by it and found it to be cozy. If you're living with someone else, then it may not be as comfortable, but for it's perfectly fine if you're by yourself.. There are shared washers and drying machines, which I don't remember how much they cost, but I remember being able to pay using credit card. The only thing I didn't like as much was that you had to pick up your mail from the manager on-site, but I'm assuming they installed mailboxes for every unit by now. Also note, some of these reviews are for Little Tokyo Hotel, which is an older hotel with private rooms and shared bathrooms (I've stayed there before as well). Mikado and Little Tokyo Hotel are not the same place.

Crystal (manager) is absolutely best - responsive, friendly and helpful - thank you! The only issue I had (vent fan in the shower not working well) was fixed in less than 12 hours (!!!) Location is sweet as well - close to Arts and Financial, restaurants all around with no crime/weirdos around.
