  I would strongly recommend being cautious before renting from this company, particularly at 450 Lafayette. My overall experience here has been very disappointing. The management team is difficult to reach, and there is often no response from the office. The common areas, including the parking lot, elevators, and lobby, are poorly maintained, with trash frequently left around. Maintenance requests take a long time to be resolved, and communication is minimal. I also know of two families who were taken to court for eviction during the pandemic, later explained as a management mistake. The building feels unsafe for children and elderly residents, and the laundry room has had several theft issues. Security cameras appear to be nonfunctional, and I’ve seen many posts from tenants reporting that delivered packages have been stolen. There are rats in the parking garage, and homeless individuals often sleep nearby and go through the trash bins around the garage. The front of the building is also often muddy because the sprinklers are constantly running. Overall, this property shows a serious lack of care, cleanliness, and organization. I would suggest considering other housing options in the Los Angeles area before choosing this one.

  The property is poorly managed and not worth the stress. The garage gate is almost always broken, packages constantly get stolen, and it’s impossible to get in touch with the property manager. The elevator smells so bad it makes you want to throw up as soon as you step inside. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything, and kids are left to run up and down the hallways screaming with no supervision. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner, and overall the place is dirty and neglected. On top of that, utilities are unfairly split between units—so it doesn’t matter if you live alone or in a one-bedroom crammed with 5–9 people (which is the case for many units here). You end up paying for everyone else’s showers, which should absolutely be addressed. For the sake of your mental health, save yourself the headache and avoid this place.

  ¡No renten aquí! Este edificio es muy sucio y mal cuidado. Los pasillos están infestados de cucarachas, y los perros de los vecinos se orinan por todas partes. Es realmente desagradable vivir aquí. Le estuvimos diciendo al manager muchas veces sobre los problemas, pero nunca hizo nada. El remolino del fregadero de la cocina ya venía dañado, se salía el agua por todas partes y nunca nos dieron una solución. Además, había arañas en el baño, las habitaciones y la cocina. El ascensor está sucio, viejo, y da asco usarlo. Ya me voy de este apartamento, pero lo digo claramente: No recomiendo este lugar. Muy mala experiencia. No renten aquí.
