Toured here but ended up renting at their other property down the street. Building is nice and the manager gave me a good tour. The unit I saw was a 1 bed and was clean, modern. Nice pool too.

I've been living there for 5 years. Now it's the best time to move in if youre ever going to. Great improvement on management.

Ahh wish I could go back! Lived here from 94' to 2005. We used to get in the swimming pool as soon as we'd get home from school lol even though our mom will tell us not to and to do our homework first. I never learned how to swim, I would just chill on the steps and try not to go beyond 3FT. All the other kids would dive and do all kinds of shenanigans. Sometimes we would go running around the hallways playing ding dong ditch. Oh the adrenaline we used to get haha trying to get away ASAP before getting caught. I don't know if the pigeons still come around but we used to catch the pigeons and pretty much raise them. Our balcony used to be full of ticks because of the baby pigeons. I wonder if all the young kids that live there now are making any memories. But because of how advanced technology has become today and social media I wouldn't be surprised if they're stuck inside. If you're young and reading this. Go get in the swimming pool. Make friends with the other kids that live there. Grab your scooter, your roller skates, skateboard, bicycle, and go outside. I would use my scooter and ride back and forth down the street. Of course you do have to be extra careful with the cars going in and out of the garage. So it's best to be supervised. Lol although back in the day all of us would be outside with no supervision. Our parents would check on us here and there just to make sure we were still alive but luckily enough nothing bad happened to anyone there. I could go on with all the fun memories I made here. If I had a wish I would relive all those memories again. I miss all the friends I made here I hope one day to go visit but I'm sure they have more security now and it's not easy to access the building.

I do not recommend anyone to rent a unit in any of the buildings owned by coast line and Chateau La Fayette Apartments is one of them. They have poor management in their buildings and there is constant maintenance problems due to the buildings being old. Maintenance issues are always addressed with delay and because maintenance is done only on weekdays, it is most likely that it will be done when you are at work and unable to be at home. Furthermore, it is almost inevitable that your deposit will be deducted for any minor wear and tear, despite the fact that the company uses the most inexpensive resources to upkeep the interior of their units. In addition, from my personal experience, my deposit was returned after thirty days and upon addressing the supervisor of the building manager of the matter, he replied "hmm...", confirmed my forwarding address, and said "I'll send the deposit and trust that you will not cash both checks when you receive it." If you're are reading this, I'll let you decide if you consider this an apology. Had I known this before hand of these issues as well as the multiple tenants that have previously sued this building to which a tenant there that has lived there for over 20 years can attest to, I would not have rented there. So please keep this in mind when you decide to rent a unit here. Good luck.
