  This is actually my first apartment. I've also never lived by the beach or in California until now. Seeking a healthier lifestyle, I was looking for an apartment with specific amenities - a hot tub, walkability, good security, a gym. I rented a studio apartment here and moved over from Tennessee about 6 weeks ago. At 1900 Ocean I have all those things plus more. It's a little interesting living in a community. (The community here at the apartment and also locally. It's very different from the rural places I've lived.) People are friendly and will talk to you if you want to talk to them. There's actually a restaurant in the building which is fantastic and there are food trucks here usually a few times each week. Recently they did a maintenance check on all the apartments so one of the maintenance guys came to my apartment and checked to make sure everything was working properly. It was actually kind of funny because I've never in my life had anyone help with things like that. In rural Tennessee, you either fix it yourself or it stays broken. I was a little concerned about a studio being too small, but this is honestly as much room as I need. There's space for everything I want plus closet space. The large windows across the side of the apartment are fantastic. I put my bed against the wall under the windows and at night time I leave that shade up so I can look at the stars while I go to sleep. The staff here is great. Cynthia and Amanda have helped me quite a bit and answered numerous questions. They're friendly & supportive. Wendy is the property director and she's usually here during the day. She has helped with billing questions and just friendly chit chat. Also the security team is diligent and helpful. Really everyone is nice. Another thing I love about this apartment Is the location. It's right next to Bixby Park, which hosts yoga everyday and also across the street is the farmers market. I walk over there usually twice a week for fresh produce. It's awesome. You can also borrow bikes, which I've done numerous times and I've only used my vehicle once since I've lived here. 😲 I used to be in a wheelchair and I have a lot of health problems so I'm trying to walk as much as I can. It still hurts a lot so I just borrow the bike. 🚲 I could go on, but suffice it to say that it's a wonderful place to live with excellent amenities and staff. I'm very pleased with my decision look forward to enjoying my time here. ☺️

  Every day living at 1900 Ocean is a blessing. The staff staff never cease to amaze me. Z who is part of the concierge staff, found my package and the error the delivery company made. He ALWAYS greets me with a smile! I'm thankful for him as well as everyone working there.

  The staff at 1900 take customer service to the next level. My entire move in experience was 20/10. Wendy, Brendan, Cynthia and everyone else from the service team, concierge and security are top tier. I am so happy to call this place home!
