We chose it to be near our family, but also because it is in a pleasant neighborhood, has lots of grassy lawns, a beautiful shaded playground, a well-equipped fitness center, a great pool, and very nice apartments. The staff have always been VERY responsive to any questions or issues we reported. Recently a larger problem occurred while we were away: we had water back up from the kitchen sink into the kitchen itself and well beyond into the dining/living areas, and one bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for a better response from the Diablo Vista staff, especially the complex manager and the head of maintenance. They were immediately on the job, worked quickly to address the problem plumbing, and cleaned up the mess, but they went well beyond this. They also arranged for professional cleaners to thoroughly clean the apartment, and they replaced vinyl flooring, baseboards, drywall, and the carpet in one room. They also replaced the lower kitchen cabinets and the oven. They had two of our own area rugs professionally cleaned. We were SO pleased that they stepped up and proactively did all of this immediately, professionally and without hesitation. I can’t think of one more thing that they could have done! During this time, they kept us informed of their efforts, and were here very soon after we returned to ensure we were satisfied. We were!
