  Early this morning in a panic I called Seneca at the SoFi Irvine front desk, I have lived at 2710 Kelvin Avenue, Irvine, CA since 2017. My disposal was clogged with a foot of water in the sink!. Seneca is my true Angel: she went beyond the call of duty - as I am offsite today without email - she kindly submitted a work order for me - and made sure the maintenance team jumped on my crisis. I arrive back in my apt. and she took care of me royally, problem solved! The new team is a refreshingly warm and responsive - unlike the past two management teams - who did not care and were often abusive by sheer neglect of our maintenance requests. For the new team - glad you kept both Scott and Seneca aboard - they are mighty good eggs, as we say in business. Chas K.

  Lived here for a year and my lease couldn’t end fast enough. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Constant water shut offs. Nearly twice a month for 8hrs+ at times. Hot water is an issue. Will get unexpected charges on your conservice bill with “no refunds” policy. Staff is nice, but things are handled very poorly

  UNSAFE SOCIETY, GOOD MANAGERS LEFT I had my bike stolen and management said they had a month of camera feed on memory but when police showed up the lady with glasses in the Sofi Irvine said there are "NO CAMERAS". Looks like the nice management people have left and its becoming untolerable. The other day the another lease management lady shooed away a kid sitting in common area and when I asked her to be polite she said you dont know the history with this Kid. The management was good until Scott and other guy were there. The new property management people are just making up rules to bully the residents.

  (I reposted this review to update some details) My apartment is quiet, with friendly leasing & maintenance staff, at a fairly good location. Id like to thank Jerry G of the maintenance team. He has been helping with maintenance very quickly (recently within one day) and is very friendly. Id also like to thank seneca, scott, and nick on the leasing team. LEASING STAFF (5/5) Seneca, Scott, and Nick were all very helpful throughout the moving process and leasing process. I called all 3 of these people on the phone and they were very informed and patient with my various issues and requests when moving in. They are fairly busy though since leasing is just one of their responsibilities. If they don't pick up your phone just call later or if you could, try visiting the office in person. MAINTENANCE (5/5) Maintenance was rough before but Sofi has a better maintenance system now (at least for building 1) Ive had great experiences with them as they’ve been able to address all of my last 3 - 4 maintenance requests within 24hrs! My AC wasn’t working today and they managed to check it and get the AC vendor to fix it within a few hours! Shoutout to Jerry G again! There is also an emergency maintenance number too, you just need to ask the leasing staff for it. NOISE (5/5) I think this can depend on your neighbors and building, but I'm fairly lucky to not have noisy neighbors. I live in 2nd floor as well, I'm very happy with the noise levels, very quiet! PRICE (3.5/5) I think the pricing of sofi apartments are fairly average for Irvine. My studio costs about 2400/month which can be a but steep Unfortunately, I think its the standard for irvine. I do think the location is fairly solid, you are located near diamond jamboree, 405, and other nice places too. The laundry / dryer machines seem pricey though, 2.25 for 1 wash and 2 for 1 dry seems a lot, but I'm not too sure what is the standard for this. PARKING (4/5) You are assigned a parking spot in a parking lot under the complex. Guest parking is a little limited since there isnt that much parking space outside of sofi. I see some reviews of other people's cars being broken into. I haven’t seen this happen in the past year (2025-2026) PESTS (5/5) I moved here primarily out of fear for seeing roaches in my old location everyday. At sofi, I haven't seen a single roach for the past year. Ive had to deal with ants or spiders but its not a huge deal. I'm really impressed with their pest control. AMENITIES (4/5) Sofi offers a fair bit of amenities which is nice. There is a pool, lounge area (leasing office), gym, park area, and bbq spot. I took off a star because their gym is a bit lackluster. There is a set of dumbells (I think some are missing), a cable machine, leg machine, and some cardio machines. There’s also a squat rack for squats and bench pressing so you can definitely workout! CONCLUSION (4/5) Overall, Sofi isn’t as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. There are some issues yes, but overall id say its a solid option in Irvine and I’d be willing to renew my lease again. Theres no pests, appliances work, and if appliances fail, maintenance comes to fix things fairly quickly, leasing staff are friendly, noise levels are fairly quiet especially the fact that i live in second floor, the gym works, you are walking distance from diamond jamboree, and 2 mins from the 405. I really dont think i can ask for more haha Just don’t expect everything to be perfect and be willing to put in effort to communicate with the apartment staff and you should be good!
