I’ve generally enjoyed living here, which has been for almost 5 years, but my recent experience with the leasing office has been extremely disappointing.
In October, I referred a friend to move into the complex and completed all of the required referral paperwork. I was present when she listed me as the referral, and I signed the necessary forms multiple times. I was clearly told by the leasing staff that I would receive a $500 referral credit after three months.
For over three months, I followed up and was repeatedly assured that the credit was pending and would be applied to my account. Now, after the waiting period, I’m being told I won’t receive the credit due to a technicality on the form—despite the leasing office accepting the paperwork and continuing to confirm the credit the entire time.
If there was an issue, it should have been addressed at the time of signing, not months later after I was repeatedly told everything was approved.
This situation feels misleading and poorly handled. I hope management addresses this so future residents don’t have the same experience.
There is no rule saying other sources void the referral.
• It does not say the referral must be the only source.
Daniel and the maintenance team are always resolving our requests in a timely manner. It’s a pleasure living here knowing our appliances are well maintained.

Others have also mentioned the outrageous move out fees. I can attest to this 100%. Don’t rent here unless you want to be slapped with a crazy bill. They want me to pay close to 8,000$ in fees that I am NOT legally required to pay. I left on the last day of my lease. I didn’t NOT over stay my lease or even leave the apartment destroyed. It’s been over 6 months and they still won’t fix my bill. They listed a billing company on my final statement; however, it has incorrect contact info. So when I call, they can’t help me. I have no one else to dispute this with. Not to mention the apartments are over priced and tiny. The onsite workers act like a high school click as well. You could definitely get a much bigger/better place for the same price/less and not deal with greedy management.
Daniel from our apartment community was very professional and responsible. He helped replace a run out light bulb and changed the refrigerator filter efficiently.
He was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Really appreciate his great work!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I lived at Fusion for over two years and had a great time, although the move in and move out process was stressful due to poor communication from the leasing office and attempts to squeeze extra money out of us.
The amenities at Fusion are maintained well and in my opinion, the best you can get in the area thanks to the privacy of the rooftop pool. I loved spending time on the amenities deck and swimming laps when the pool was empty and the hot tub is fantastic. The koi pond is a uniquely calming amenity and the gym equipment is in great condition.
Kaitlin and Tiffany were always kind, while the building manager Lace is informative and quickly resolved concerns. We had an ongoing issue with a downstairs neighbor filing bogus noise complaints and harassing us, but Tiffany in particular was very apologetic and worked with us to manage the situation before it escalated out of hand (although the problem still persisted for five months). Maintenance requests were addressed quickly, sometimes within the same day even for non-emergencies.
The negatives are the lack of informed communication and money-grabbing attempts when it comes to move in and move out. When we moved in, the office tried to revoke our $1,000 discount special despite our qualification for the promotion, which they eventually honored after I pushed back with proof. Throughout my tenancy, I would wait days for follow-up emails to simple questions I asked in person. My mother was verbally told that Fusion does not conduct move out inspections when she asked for one on my behalf, although the office denies this. We experienced other slightly annoying situations with the office as well.
We were charged $1,373 upon move out, including $740 for wall texturing and painting and $400 for prorated carpet replacement despite the lack of stains or damage to the carpet. The carpet charge was dropped when I cited California Civil Code 1950.5 regarding normal tenant wear and tear. Based on many recent reviews, it seems that unreasonable carpet replacement charges are a standard experience when moving out of this complex.
While living at Fusion was a pleasant experience, the move out process left a sour taste in my mouth. Make sure to request a move out inspection in writing and send your important questions directly to office management, and your experience at Fusion should be great.
