  This review is strictly for the Maintenance team at Cadence Apartments. The team consists of Ricardo and Jose; they are the glue that holds this place together. I recently placed a service request and Ricardo was on it the same day and fixed my issue. Both men have always responded promptly and efficiently. They both have a great attitude and a smile on their face!

  I wish I could post the review without even a single star. I highly recommend you keep looking and don’t even bother with touring or considering this complex. I have been a resident here for almost 3 years now and regret resigning my lease this last June thinking there would be any positive change that is repeatedly promised but never acted upon. I’ve always been on the 1st floor and never have had any issues with noise or disturbance from above, a few months back new residents moved into the unit above and have made my life miserable. There’s stomping and running all night long lasting till about 3-4am and starting back up by 8. I have made various complaints but till this day the bothersome stomping continues distrupting not only my sleep but my toddlers as well. I wish that was all but unfortunately they also have an unbearable stray cat problem. The first floor where I reside is also on the same floor as the pool and common room which has walk ways around the perimeter in which over 15 stray cats reside. These cats not only come on to your given patio and destroy any items or furniture you decide to place in your area but also have fleas that manage to travel into the units as well. I myself along with my 3 year old have been bit by these fleas on numerous occasions and I have sent photographs along with written complains and yet nothing has happened- it shouldn’t take over a year. Just yesterday she stepped out for a few minutes while I was grabbing trash and trying to tidy up the mess that the stray cats come and create, she came back with numerous flea bites. The cats are aggressive and overwhelming I don’t even feel safe opening my patio door for fresh air after being scratched by one as well. It’s getting so unbearable I’m considering escalating these matters and involving legal aid because no one should be paying $3k and deal with such conditions. I wish I could blame the office staff but unfortunately it’s not in their job description to correct these issues all they can do is wait for responses from higher ups, though they’re the only positive aspect to this place it’s not enough to continue dealing with a place that doesn’t care for the actual residents.

  I honestly regret ever signing a lease here. The staff are some of the most unprofessional and unhelpful people I’ve ever dealt with. The female staff act like every question or concern is an inconvenience. Either gives you an attitude or passes the blame onto someone else. There is always another manager in there every other month who seem to have “just got here” so don't bother getting used to anyone in there except for one manager who seems to be the only consistency & help there. The apartments themselves look decent online, but don’t be fooled there are constant issues stolen packages, noisy neighbors, trash piling up in hallways, and no accountability. It’s clear they care more about collecting rent than actually providing a livable community. Look else where

  Beware of this place. The rent might seem a little cheaper, but you will pay in so many other ways. There are numerous hidden fees that won’t show up until after you’ve signed the lease. The hallways are dirty and often smell like pee. When they don’t smell like pee, they smell like hot garbage because the “valet trash” sits out for hours. There are stray cats everywhere, and they fight loudly at night. The pool is basically never open. They weren’t honest about the parking garage having a waitlist, so my roommate and I had to alternate using the one spot we were allowed. Sometimes we had to park as far as Mission because the street parking was full. They say you can park at BART but on weekdays, if your car isn’t moved by 4AM when they start changing, expect a ticket. We also saw several cars get broken into in the garage so parking has been a total lose, lose situation. The worst part, though, is the leasing staff. Easily the most unprofessional and unresponsive team I’ve dealt with anywhere I’ve lived. I’ve called, left voicemails, and emailed multiple times over the past three months trying to get one simple document showing I was removed from the lease. The manager told me in person it would be sent right away. Since then, the phone has only been answered twice. Both times I was told the manager would call me back…but nothing. It’s a simple scan and send. If anyone from the office is reading this, check your emails, comb through the likely thousands of unopened messages, and send me my document. DO BETTER.

  "Hey, I'd like to share my mixed experience with this new apartment complex. First off, big props to Kevin – he was super helpful with our application and paperwork, made the process smooth and easy. However, the rest of the office staff, particularly the female team members, have been a different story – not in a good way. I'm talking consistently rude and unprofessional, especially to folks (like me) who are new and still getting the lay of the land. Seriously, no need to be harsh on people who don't know all the rules yet, right? That was my main headache from day one. On top of that, they promised us an EV charging parking spot before we moved in, and... crickets. We've been asking for updates for over two weeks now, and the office staff seem about as thrilled to help as a, well, let's just say they're not exactly bending over backward. Not cool. To anyone considering this place, you might wanna check out these issues before signing on the dotted line. Hopefully, the management will get their act together on customer service and fulfill those promised amenities. Thanks for reading, and I hope things improve for future tenants!"
