    We terminated our lease primarily because of the leasing office. The ongoing lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism made the living experience unnecessarily stressful. • We were given keys before signing the lease because the unit and the lease were not ready. • We did not receive a copy of our signed lease until 8 months later, despite email follow-ups. • Incorrect additional charges appeared on our account due to management error and remained unresolved for about 10 months. It was only corrected after the Regional Manager Charlie stepped in and mentioned it was a simple fix. We finally received a refund after months of emailing and going into the office. Charlie kindly and professionally walked us through everything. • I had to confirm in person that I was emailing the correct address since I wasn’t receiving replies (including requests for the lease copy). I was told by Jasmine, “We get to it when we can.” • When manager was present, the tone and behavior noticeably shifted. • We never received clear written move-out instructions and had to go to the office the day before move-out to clarify the process. The explanation given to us was that the Regional Manager was included in the email thread, so the leasing office agents did not read our emails. • We properly submitted our 30-day notice, yet a “notice of term change”(outlining options for either renewing or terminating the lease), signed by Jasmine, was taped to our door two weeks before move-out, which was confusing. • The notice of term change clearly stated in bold that auto-pay for rent would deactivate once written notice was given. However, our auto-pay still went through. Figure it was internal miscommunication. When I brought this up to the leasing office, the response was to blame Charlie “its his fault” and say no one had previously pointed it out. • When I asked for the move-out process to be provided in writing, I was told, “No, I will not do that.” The only instruction we had received was email thread with Charlie - to return the keys the next day if move-out wasn’t completed by 6PM. She told me to follow what charlie stated in the email. I was given inspection confirmation the day before move-out but refused a written checklist or process. • I was told maintenance handles move-out and leasing handles move-in, but usually the leasing office provide move-out instructions and guidance. • Whenever concerns or issues were raised, the response was often to blame “higher ups” rather than take ownership, and the tone became defensive. So the conversation often aggravated unnecessarily. Mistakes happen — that’s understandable. What made this difficult was the consistent lack of follow-through, not very welcoming attitude and dismissive responses. Talk to the residents, I’m not the only resident who has experienced similar frustrations with the leasing office. On a positive note, the Regional Manager Charlie and MAINTENANCE TEAM are the only ones that is holding this place together. Ricardo especially was welcoming, kind, and truly made us feel at home. Thank you, maintenance team, for your hard work and professionalism. Living there and apartment itself was fine, but the stress caused by the leasing office ultimately made it not worth staying.

    The only good thing about these apartments are the maintenance guys and the size of the units. The hallways always smell. Everytime my family visits they make fun of our hallway smell. PACKAGES GET STOLEN all the time. I live on floor 2 and between 6 am - 8 am there are garbage trucks or construction trucks or something that constantly beep and move heavy things around its super loud and wakes my son up all the time. Our dishwasher smells like sewage everytime we use it. The courtyard smells like cat pee my 3 year old literally has cried when we went out for fresh air in the courtyard cause it stinks and he wanted to go back inside. The price is a little lower than most places but I can see why it is.

    Lived here for about almost 2 years. Jasmine and Jose have always been super responsive. Anytime I’ve ever had a maintenance request Jose is at my door within the same day. one time even within the hour. The community is diverse in overall very quiet which I appreciate. Thanks guys!

    This review is strictly for the Maintenance team at Cadence Apartments. The team consists of Ricardo and Jose; they are the glue that holds this place together. I recently placed a service request and Ricardo was on it the same day and fixed my issue. Both men have always responded promptly and efficiently. They both have a great attitude and a smile on their face!

    I wish I could post the review without even a single star. I highly recommend you keep looking and don’t even bother with touring or considering this complex. I have been a resident here for almost 3 years now and regret resigning my lease this last June thinking there would be any positive change that is repeatedly promised but never acted upon. I’ve always been on the 1st floor and never have had any issues with noise or disturbance from above, a few months back new residents moved into the unit above and have made my life miserable. There’s stomping and running all night long lasting till about 3-4am and starting back up by 8. I have made various complaints but till this day the bothersome stomping continues distrupting not only my sleep but my toddlers as well. I wish that was all but unfortunately they also have an unbearable stray cat problem. The first floor where I reside is also on the same floor as the pool and common room which has walk ways around the perimeter in which over 15 stray cats reside. These cats not only come on to your given patio and destroy any items or furniture you decide to place in your area but also have fleas that manage to travel into the units as well. I myself along with my 3 year old have been bit by these fleas on numerous occasions and I have sent photographs along with written complains and yet nothing has happened- it shouldn’t take over a year. Just yesterday she stepped out for a few minutes while I was grabbing trash and trying to tidy up the mess that the stray cats come and create, she came back with numerous flea bites. The cats are aggressive and overwhelming I don’t even feel safe opening my patio door for fresh air after being scratched by one as well. It’s getting so unbearable I’m considering escalating these matters and involving legal aid because no one should be paying $3k and deal with such conditions. I wish I could blame the office staff but unfortunately it’s not in their job description to correct these issues all they can do is wait for responses from higher ups, though they’re the only positive aspect to this place it’s not enough to continue dealing with a place that doesn’t care for the actual residents.
