  My husband and I were ACL tenants in Oakland for 5 years, recently became home owners and made the move. It has to be said that ACL is an attentive property management. Over the years, any time an issue arose within our unit, it was handled immediately. There was an occasion where life happened and they 100% understood and worked with us. We dealt directly with Charles, who is great. After our move some mail and a few packages still made their way there and he reached out to us and met up to personally give them to me. I don’t know if I was supposed to say that haha but Charles thank you! 1021 will always be a special time in our lives. ACL Property, you guys are awesome!

  Having used ACL Property Management for my home rental property AND recent home sale I can honestly say, if you are looking for a property manager, real estate expert, look no further. Stop, I mean it. Charles and his team come packed with experience that nobody else can replicate. I guarantee you'll never find anything that compares. I can get into specifics but I won't, just know that if you use anyone else you'll be sorry.

  The line of questioning in the application does carry a weight of bias and profiling. I observed it while applying! For example, the questionnaire asks if will you have the money within 2 hours of approval. This alone weeds out many people OR it forces an applicant to pull out money before submitting the application which is still an inconvenience ESPECIALLY if you are NOT approved. We were approved and of course he wanted the money within 2 hours. We were also on east coast time since we live in CT and he just assumed we had a lot of money sitting around. Since the application also stated it would take up to 14 days for approval we did not prepare to pull out money in advance. I have unfortunately had many negative experiences with realtors from our buying and selling of our properties to renting properties from them. It is very difficult within the current housing infrastructure for realtors to have integrity. In my observation, they fuel the challenges of obtaining a home. It's like being a "good' cop while policing people. It's hard. It is difficult to believe some of the reviews here with the experience my husband and I had. We told Mr. Lassey what our parameters were, he agreed, but when the time came he ghosted us. We're still waiting for communication. So, I'm truly surprised to see the positive reviews. HOWEVER, as one continues to scroll, there are others who share a similar story.

  I was referred to Charles at ACL Property Management by a friend of mine who knew I was looking to rent out my property and that I didn't have a lot of time to be involved in the day to day details. I am so glad that I found Charles! He has been managing my property for a year, and I highly recommend working with him. To me, one of the best signs of a property manager is that I rarely hear from him! When I was ready to put my property on the market, Charles staged my unit, took pictures, handled the listing, and found quality tenants. If there are ever maintenance issues with the unit, Charles handles them swiftly. Whenever I reach out to Charles with questions or requests, he is very responsive and acts super quickly. I highly recommend working with ACL Property Management and only wish that I had been introduced to Charles sooner!

  I've been a client of ACL Property Management for 8+ years. During this time I found the team at ACL to be very responsive and easy to work with. The ACL client portal provides a simple and effective way to pay rent, submit work orders and contact property management staff. Charles, has been my point of contact for the entire 8+ year period and I found his professionalism and helpfulness exemplary.
