  They advertise the community really nicely but the management is a mess. After 3 years of being ideal residents, we submitted our move out notice on time and 3 months later, we were informed management had sent our names to collections for $300 outstanding balance. We were never notified of this balance during our move out, after our move out, no emails were sent and no phone calls were made. Maintenance requests would take 1+ month to be completed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. They do not care about you.

  Don't recommend this place: My wife and I moved to California and to Bidwell park in April 2023 and stayed until Jan 2025. Initially, things were ok, our unit was recently remodeled with in unit washer dryer and newish appliances and the second floor unit has a high roof which we really liked. Neighbors seemed nice and families with children. We didn't have many issues, maintenance was slow to respond but this was because one guy took care of the entire community. The office rarely responded to emails and when visiting the office to ask about anything there was someone who said the manager will get back to you instead of resolving the issue. Management staff seemed untrained and didn't care about resident wellbeing. I think this is what you get for what you pay. We signed a second lease as well but this turned out to be a mistake. Things started deteriorating fast. Groups of men moved in to units around ours which was near Leslie Street. There seemed to be 8-10 of them but management didn't seem to care. They started late night drinking parties, loud music, public urination, trashing everywhere ( see pictures in other reviews). There was a break in to the unit below us, no security measure was taken by the management. My bike was stolen from the balcony, the thief even knocked on my door and tried to open the window. Called the supposedly onsite patrol, they didn't do anything. Thief used a ladder left behind carelessly by the maintenance. I've also seen wheels of a car got stolen from the car park. We decided to move as soon as the lease ended due to safety concerns and managements lack of response. I don't recommend this place, especially if you are a family and especially close to the Leslie Street side.

  When we came to look at the apartments, the employees told us a bunch of positive things about living here, and it convinced us to sign the contract. About two months later, there were pests biting the children. They got exterminators to come and exterminate the bugs three times, yet there were still bedbugs. I went to tell the manager we still had pests, and what we could do about it. They said that since our apartment had way too much stuff, they couldn't 'kill' the bugs. If we're living here, how can we clean everything out just so they could exterminate the bugs? Today, they said that exterminating the bugs would require my money. I said I had no money to pay for it, and they told me that if I didn't pay, my credit score would lower. The main office people are extremely rude. DO NOT MOVE IN! YOU WILL SUFFER! AND YOUR PLACE WILL BE INFESTED WITH PESTS!
