> I lived at Harbor Cove for over two years, and while the location is nice, the management and maintenance experience was unacceptable.
> 1. Predatory Move-Out Charges: After moving out, I was charged over $1,800 for repairs. Despite living there for more than two years (which falls under normal wear and tear in CA), they charged me for a full repaint because of some marks on a single wall and for minor cabinet repairs. It felt like they used my deposit to fund their own unit renovations.
> 2. Maintenance Negligence: It took a staggering 8 months to get a simple bathroom sliding door fixed. When the on-site maintenance staff finally arrived, they were consistently rude and unprofessional, acting as if basic repairs were a personal favor rather than a service included in my high rent.
> 3. Security Concerns: There were multiple instances of car break-ins during my stay. For a "luxury" gated community, the lack of security and the attitude of the staff are disappointing.
> As a tenant, you are a paying customer, not a guest. I would strongly advise anyone—especially those to the area—to look elsewhere

Please be cautious before deciding to move here. Everything is fine until there is a crisis.
There is no transparency in the communication of the management and the tenants.
We were affected by the fire on December 20,2025 and over a month and half later we still do not have access to our belongings and no clear timeline on access.
We’ve tried being polite and patient with the management and the leasing office staff and understand the legal implications of release, however there have been false promises from time to time.
Within the last month I have heard
- “hopefully soon, hopefully next week”,
- contradictory statements (originally informed PPE certification was sufficient for access, and after submitting the certificate they changed the guidelines again)
- Telling us that they’re working on waivers to let everyone in and immediately the next day blocking access to everyone (including third-party PPE certified companies)
The only time we hear updates from them is when they’re continuously bombarded by tenants either in person or over emails. I haven’t received a response to my email in almost a week.
It’s been frustrating dealing with them and they do not know how to handle or communicate in a crisis.

I had such a wonderful experience with my leasing consultant, Andrew. He was incredibly nice, patient, and sincere throughout the whole process. When showing me the apartment, he was very enthusiastic and detailed, and took the time to answer all my questions. I could truly feel his kindness and genuine care. I’m so excited to move in soon — thank you, Andrew, for making this experience so pleasant and welcoming!
