  I have been living at Parkside Apartments for almost two months now, and I’ve had a really great experience so far! The community is clean, well-maintained, and overall a great environment to be around, which made settling in feel easy right away. The apartment itself was in excellent condition when I moved in, and any small questions I’ve had have been handled quickly and professionally by the management team. On top of that, the location is incredibly convenient—a perfect central hub with easy access to Downtown Davis, grocery stores, and a variety of retail options. One thing I really appreciate is how responsive and friendly the staff is—Jennifer, Alyssa, and Vicki genuinely seem to care about residents and take pride in keeping the property a fun/positive place to live. I personally enjoy all of the amenities they have such as the pool, gym, grill area, and all of the fun events they throw in the clubhouse (free food!). Overall, it’s been a smooth and positive transition, and I am really happy with my decision to move here. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and beautiful place to live.

  Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. Rat infestations coming from outside and one chewed through our screen to get inside. Also a cockroach problem. Constant mold in bathroom due to lack of ventilation. Laundry room is disgusting and the machines are covered in mold. Half of them are always broken anyways. The train is extremely loud and has many homeless people living right by it. Old appliances that barely work.

  loved living at Parkside apartments this year! Upon move out here are my thoughts.. POSITIVES: The staff and property were extremely kind to me from start to the end. When I moved in the apartment was spotless, I could tell there was an extremely deep clean. When I had issues with my dishwasher they responded promptly. The property itself is well maintained and beautiful DEPOSIT. I got almost my ENTIRE deposit back besides a mandatory fee of 35dollars. So I'm not sure why the reviews say they take entire deposits, take those with a grain of salt. (I did leave it in spotless condition upon move out) 2 bus stops right outside which is perfect for UCD students. They also offered several buffets and pizza/other foods for us during finals week!! Nightly security patrols Walls were thick, I didn't hear my neighbors often. CONS: parking is limited with no assigned spots It can be a little dangerous if you live facing the railroad tracks I would STRONGLY advise against that. I had a friend who lived in that area that had MULTIPLE packages stolen within minutes of them delivered. bedrooms do not have any lights, so make sure to have a lamp or 2 for your bedroom upon move in. No central air, only air conditioner is located in the living room and the air circulation is not the best, so my bedroom was SO hot during the summer so I would take that into mind. All windows are facing other properties windows or the street where people walk or drive so there was a lack of privacy, but if you close the blinds, not an issue! I would recommend Parkside!

  Don’t rent in that place manager Jennifer is a really rude she is not professional. Find a friendly place to live plus it’s old place and smelly and stinky place .

  IF YOU WANT YOUR DEPOSIT BACK DON'T RENT HERE! The office is very disorganized. I moved out on 9/6/21 and they are supposed to have your security deposit refund to you in 21 days after moving out. I just TODAY (10/15/121) in the mail got a letter from them informing me not only will I not be getting my security deposit back but they are CHARGING ME $369. I left the apartment spotless and patched the small pinholes we made in the walls myself yes they are charging me $450 to paint the apartment, $25 for carpet cleaning (even though we left no stains and I shampood the carpets myself the day we left!) and $152 for an apartment cleaning. I have WORKED at apartments and we gave full refunds of security deposits unless you caused damage. Cleaning and painting the apartment between tenants was routine and did not cost them a dime. In addition to these unexpected feees they were charging us late for city utilities. I am happy to pay my city utilities but they should've been charging me monthly so I am not paying June-Sept w/s/g at once. They also should've made my security deposit enough to cover regular cleaning. I left the apartment undamaged and spotless there is no reason they should be charging me over $300 and to top it all off they got me this notice late and expect me to pay it by Nov 1st. Not everyone can budget for an unexpected $369 in two weeks.
