Don't rely on the reviews from tenants that had just moved in. As a past resident here for the last three plus years, I would NOT recommend it. Here's why..
NO GUEST PARKING - I’ve been living at Skyline Heights Apartments for a little over three years, and I’ve watched the community decline. When I first moved in, it was of course, we were happy. There was guest parking and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Now, there is zero guest parking, so if you need an extra spot, you have to pay extra (understandable). But there is no room for your guest to park if that is ever the case. On weekends, people park in the red zones since there’s no alternative.
MULTIPLE CAR BREAK-INS - You'll see numerous residences that have placed cameras outside. Within the last 6 months, three cars got broken into, not once but over three times. Over and over again. This isn't a one-time thing, the management team has expressed that this has happened in the past.
LACK OF COMMUNICATION/AMENITIES - Distinct from their AI communicators, Whitney and Emma, last year, I tried to apply for another place. I emailed the office management several times for a rent history, and they never responded, which kept me from moving sooner. Over the last three years, our rent has increased drastically. There are no "real events" or great amenities that justify it. Two of four EV chargers were unusable for a couple of months. Gym equipment is not the best, and there are barely anything for you to use.
DARK APARTMENTS - Another big downside is the lack of sunlight. If you want a unit full of natural light, this is not the place. The windows are super tiny, and even during the day, the unit stays pitch dark, so you’re always using lamps, which increases your electricity bill. Walls are thin, you'll hear the other neighbors, and units are insulated so poorly.
COMMUNITY: There’s a crowd outside constantly smoking or drinking. The management team has done numerous in-unit inspections. Also, if you are looking for some answer, expect to get a text or call from their AI (Emma and Whitney), which I'm sure the office management team utilizes and pretends to be them. And expect to get a ton of ChaptGPT emails from Emma, too.
Within the last three years, I met wonderful neighbors, and I can easily say it is not just me, but there is a huge handful of us that are not happy with this community, so it was time for us to move on. Hope this review helps.
