  I honestly wouldn’t recommend living at Skyline Heights. Other than being overpriced with almost no amenities, they advertise a gym and pool that are both extremely small. I tried the gym twice, and it was uncomfortable to work out in for any length of time, also stopped going after seeing spiders inside of it. We dealt with mold inside the apartment, and it affected our health, the entire bathroom ceiling was filled with it. The apartment was also always cold because the windows were poorly installed and constantly let cold air in. One of the biggest ongoing problems was the plumbing. The kitchen and bathroom drains clog very easily, and it seems like the plumbing is shared between units. Even though we were careful and never put solid waste down the sinks, we had multiple incidents where dirty water and food waste backed up into our kitchen and bathroom. It was extremely disgusting to deal with and happened consistently. Hot water was cut off multiple times, sometimes for an entire week at a time. This happened more than once and felt completely unacceptable for a place you’re paying to live in. Privacy was also a serious issue. Maintenance workers would show up early in the morning and work directly outside bedroom windows without any notice. Waking up to people standing right outside your window is uncomfortable and felt like a total invasion of privacy. Toward the end of my lease, I was locked out of the resident portal after they introduced a new two-factor authentication system. Instead of helping me fix the issue so I could pay rent normally, management said they had “no control” and told me to pay by money order. That meant taking time off work just to ask how much I owed and then going to the bank, which was frustrating and unnecessary. Parking was another example of poor communication. I already had one parking spot and asked for a second one. Management kept saying they were opening new spaces and that I’d get an email, but even after following up multiple times, I was never updated. The trash area was also poorly maintained. Trash was constantly overflowing and spread outside the bins, with bugs around, to the point where taking out the trash felt gross. On top of all this, police were frequently on the property because of issues with neighbors, which made the place feel unstable and unsafe. Overall, between the health issues, plumbing problems, repeated hot water outages, lack of privacy, and poor management, this was the worst place I’ve ever lived in. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, this place is not worth it.

  Whoever the owners are, they are just money grabbing people who don’t care about the quality of living for their renters. This complex is overpriced and no benefits. The washers/dryers never work. The appliances are cheap. Our stove smokes fumes and emits toxins that probably aren’t great for us to breath in.. but what do you do when they won’t fix it. There’s no parking, except paid parking. They complain about people parking wherever but then take all of the guest parking away so it’s paid additional spaces only and they earn an extra buck. AND we requested an additional paid parking spot back in Sept when we moved in and they still haven’t provided us with one.. when there’s tons of open “paid” spots everywhere. The tow truck guy warned us to be careful bc he tows cars from our complex by request of the apt and renters on a daily/weekly basis. Use that extra cash to pay for someone to pick up all the dog poop everywhere.. but they won’t because of my first statement. I was also misled by the mostly positive reviews.. but read the bad ones too. They’re valid. You can find a better place to live in the city.. don’t come here ** UPDATED. they reply to these reviews to seem like they’re responsive but don’t actually do anything to make things better.
