  Our experience working with Fernando as our buyers agent was extremely disappointing. At the start, he told us he could negotiate the price down significantly because “the seller’s agent didn’t know what she was doing.” Once the seller agreed to make all the requested repairs, that negotiation never happened. The day before our final inspection, Fernando actually called to encourage us to waive the inspection altogether — which we found ridiculous. Thankfully, we didn’t listen. When we went through with the inspection, we discovered that none of the agreed repairs had been done. It felt like he didn’t want us to find out. He also pressured us to use his preferred lender, claiming that if we didn’t, the seller might think we were getting cold feet. The rate from his lender was much higher than what we later found elsewhere, and only after we said we couldn’t afford it did he “suddenly” find another lender with a better rate. During the final inspection, we also found that the automatic gate had been changed to a manual one with the motor removed — a major issue. When I told him I didn’t want to close until it was fixed, he promised we’d be reimbursed afterward because he “keeps perfect paperwork” and told us not to worry about it. We trusted him and closed based on that assurance. Since then, he’s done absolutely nothing to help us get reimbursed or resolve the issue — even though he promised multiple times to take care of it. It’s clear now that his main concern was getting the deal closed and collecting his commission, not looking out for our best interests as buyers. Fernando should stick to listing homes, not representing buyers. Our experience was stressful, misleading, and ultimately costly.

  Fernando is very professional and straight to the point. He listened to what we wanted and he got us our forever home! I was kinda of scared to start the home buying process but Fernando and his team made it happen in such a fast time. He went above and beyond to get us our home.
