  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I rented an apartment for my son there from 8/24-5/25. Someone subleased from him for the last two months. Now 6 months later I am being charged a full month rent when we have had nothing to do with them. My son tried to get them to take it off. They wouldn't. I called and they said they couldn't help me and I had to contact a company called Domuso. When I called them I spent 20 minutes on the phone then was hung up on. I have emailed and heard nothing. I asked Cedar Flats to have someone call me and still have not heard back from them. They have helped themselves to my credit card and are unwilling to take the charge of $1000.93 off my account or to help me get it off. I am going to have to file a claim with my credit card company. I have spent a lot of time on this and they have been unwilling to help.

  All the staff are very nice and the spa gym and grill area are all very nice amenities and well kept.

  Transferring apartments and the washer is broke in the new one , full of water . Got told to leave it over the weekend and this wasn’t an emergency . Even after I informed them that’s not possible as I have asthma and can’t be around a giant basin of still water causing fumes/gunk in the air . Got told basically too bad so sad and not a single apology . About to spend my evening scooping this out because they won’t even come drain it . have tried to be understanding so far , but this is on top of the apartment being dirty and having small damages from the previous tenant still , them entering my first apartment while I was asleep after it being discussed that a time range would be set and none was (even tho I literally had a note posted that I was sleeping please come back later ), hallways REAKING since I moved in, doing nothing for residents in a power outage in over 100• my first week here , and the office staff making comments about my voice and “energy” when I don’t talk to them like I’m their bestie .

  Cedar flats is a terribly overpriced complex who doesn’t care about their residents. They advertise it as a clean well kept property but it is quite the opposite. Always trash in the hallways, things getting stolen (including bikes), homeless people wandering the parking lot at night, and everything is so cheaply built. My AC has broke twice in the span of living hear for 2 years and so has just about every appliance in the unit. The staff are condescending and rude, and do not care about the residents. As a college student, I have had to learn so much about my rights as a renter because they don’t take young tenants concerns seriously. They just shut down the spa because of “disaster messes” even though that is an amenity we pay for, but won’t pay for better cameras to actually see where damage is coming from. There are supposed to be quiet hours which the office does not actually enforce, and we have filed several noise complaints through out our time here that have only resulted in “warnings”. They also are TERRIBLE at giving proper notice for when people are entering a unit. If something needs to be fixed, you should expect it to get fixed in at least a week and a half if not longer due to the fact that they don’t care about residents. Ron the maintenance man is the only helpful staff member and I have just started going directly to him when there is an issue because the office managers are 1) never working and 2) take forever to get things done. Honestly cannot wait to leave this property. Ridiculous. Dont live here it’s terrible! I will include several photos as well.
