  Absolutely beautiful complex, perfect location, and so close to the beach! Property management is incredible, pool & jacuzzi are the cherry on top. It’s a pleasure living here 😍

  SoCal PMG (tamarack sands) has been the worst apartment management we’ve ever experienced. Since they bought out the property, the vast majority of us tenants have opted to terminate our lease rather than continue living here. Without notice our water and power has been shut off as well as gates being open all hours and parking rights being revoked without compensation. Our electric bill was also somehow almost $400 for our 1200 foot apartment. Something is very wrong with this property — don’t sign a lease here.

  Lived here for 3 years. New management took over fairly recently and immediately got to work on much needed upgrades. All new paths, landscaping, interior upgrades, etc. This place finally got the love and investment it needed. Angie in particular has been awesome - despite juggling all the transition and renovations she always popped by to check in on us and follow up on any questions. We loved our corner of paradise by the sea while we were there and glad it is in good hands as we leave.

  I lived here during the transition of this place going from Pure Beach Living to Tamarack Sands. It was fine before the new owners, but after, it became an utterly horrible experience. First the new owners straight up lied to us about rent. So much unneeded construction, like putting in new sidewalks even though they were perfectly fine and cutting down every single tree. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, this place has the classic landlord special. Handles that were barely used were falling off the cabinets in the kitchen. It’s almost like their goal was to figure out how to inconvenience the residents as much as possible, and then make them pay even more money on top of it. Sure the location is nice, but even that isn’t going to be worth the money.

  *reposting because they deleted all of the reviews* Do not move here, new management came in and started doing construction immediately and we asked if they were going to raise the rent and they said no, 2 days later they left a note in our mailbox saying the rent is increasing. There's cockroaches and mice l've even had to scare away a group of 4 raccoons off of the porch. We’ve put orders in for things that have needed to be fixed and they never fixed it. This place is not worth your money
