On occasion over the last few years there have been times when it was more convenient for me to transact business in their office in Carlsbad. It is so refreshing to get consistent professional, courteous and upbeat service from Joy Rocco. I don't normally write reviews. However, Joy Rocco's level of service deserves mentioning. She's a game changer. She makes a difference.
I go to Carlsbad office every month to pay for my HOA. Joy Rocco at the front office is always very helpful, and she puts notes on my account to avoid any potential late payment charge. But, I had one incident when Joy was not there and the other lady helped me with the check, but forgot to add the note. Then, I was charged for late payment on that month since it looked like they mailed in my check. It took me a while to argue with them to remove that charge from my account. (Please do keep your receipt!)
Last month, I found another late payment fee charged on my account. Later I found even though Joy left a note this time, someone didn't bother to read it! Although, they were able to remove those charges from my account eventually, I still spent some time to figure this out which should never happen in the beginning.
I really think they can and should do better.
William was able to help me with all my issues and concerns with the online account. He knows exactly what happens and how to resolve each problem that I have. With his help, I was able to pay off the balance , re set up for auto pay and resolve the issues that last for years. I highly appreciated his help. He is professional, has deep knowledge, patient, polite and thinking for the customer. The best experience I had for many years dealing with all kinds of customer service. He is the super star. I wish every customer service can be like him.
I reside in Oceanside, CA in a 55+ community. If you are an HOA seeking a new management company I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST Prescott.
Our HOA engaged the services of Prescott in Carlsbad, CA a few months ago. Our Prescott management team is Bobbie Happ (Mgr) and Eric Munoz (asst Mgr). My interactions with them have been poor.
All homeowner communications are completed via the Town Sq app which results in significant delays (2+ months on average) for answers when a request is made. The app is not user friendly. Town Sq is impersonal, ineffectual and answers are vague and elusive.
I always have a good experience when I contact Arianna Rodriguez at Prescott. She always returns my calls and if it’s important she will text me back with an update on my issue. I recently had to do a clubhouse reservation under time constraints and she made sure I was able to get it done on time. Sometimes dealing with HOAs feels frustrating and you’re communicating into a black hole. But I don’t feel this way when I contact Arianna because I know she is responsive and helpful.
