  Living in Montecito Carlsbad has been a pleasure. All of the office staff are just terrific, personable, and very helpful. Many thanks to Ingrid, Mirella, Destiny, Heather, and Ryan for making me feel so at home. Hugs. The upkeep on the apartments is first class. Maintenance is there when you need them. Hardly ever need them cuz everything works. As far as amenities go, the pool area is elegant and comfortable. Love the Cabanas, the saltwater pool and jacuzzi, and the entertainment lounges are superb. The gym is up to date and open 24 hours. Being able to work out at any time is good for the mind and the body.

  I've been living at Montecito Apartments in Carlsbad for for 61/2 years and I absolutely love it The apartments have modern features and an upscale design that make everyday day living a pleasure. The community here is so welcoming and kind- everyone is friendly, and it creates such a positive, neighborly vibe. All the cute doggies help with that, too! I especially enjoy the beautiful saltwater pool and jacuzzi. It has a resort feel to it. I'm seriously at the pool every week. The gym is newly equipped and has a nice flow of people coming in and out. Finally, the management and maintenance team are always there when I need them- super responsive and helpful. If you're looking for a great place to live in Carlsbad, I highly recommend Montecito; it really feels like home!

  I just want everyone to know that I’ve lived at Montecito since they opened. It’s an amazing place to live, resort style in my back yard. The management team and leasing team is always helpful. Mirella is amazing, taking care of requests as quickly as possible and always welcomes me with a smile. This is the kind of place I want to continue living at. Maintenance team is great too. Thank you for all you do.

  Destiny is the most considerate, sweet, professional, leasing agent I have ever dealt with. She corresponds to me in a swift manner, and she is always answering all of my questions, which is a lot, but she never gets frustrated and is always very helpful and resourceful. It’s been nice communicating with her back-and-forth because me and my child are moving from out of state and I am a bit overwhelmed, but she helps me every step of the way. What an amazing asset to a company!

  Neighbors downstairs are BBQing on their balcony and in the process fumigating our place upstairs. This is against Montecito's community rules, but it's been going on for over three years. Besides of being toxic and harmful to health, it is also a real safety and fire hazard. This has been evidenced and reported to Montecito's Leasing Office and Management on many occasions, yet nothing has changed. Advertising this place as "where luxury meets comfort" is a travesty. 3/27/26 @ Montecito: I sent you communications via email and phone regarding this situation and you didn't respond. After you posted your boiler-plate review response below, I called that number you listed below (Leasing Office) and there was an auto-attendant, which didn't transfer my call or accept any messages. You have my complete contact info, including my ph, email, etc. Don't play dumb and contact me, or better yet, permanently resolve this health and safety violation. I can't wait to see how you turn this experience into a positive one. 4/13/26 @ Montecito: this situation continues unabated: neighbors downstairs BBQing on their balcony and fumigating us in the process.
