  My husband and I put in a application, we had issues cause my husband's ID was expired but still put the $300 holding deposit plus paid the $50 to run our credit so it could be held for us while they tried another way to "help" us....this was over a month ago...we never got the apartment, they never ran my husband's credit, never called us to clarify anything (I was constantly calling the office to see if there was a thing else that was needed) we ended up getting another place and we have yet to receive our $300 deposit back. We've called SEVERAL times and the manager is always out of the office and never returns our calls. So they took our holding deposit, never called us and still have yet to give the money back. (Even though when I first called they said they're processing it and it would be in our account within 3 business days, it's been a month already.) This place is ridiculous when it comes to SIMPLE communication. The staff never knows what's going on. I wouldn't recommend even trying.

  The worst living experience I've had in 30 years of living in Los Angeles. Management will lie to you. The investment group, Davlyn Investments, treats this building like a slum. They do not support staff or provide proper funding to maintain the building. 20211 has lots and lots of problems; don't move here. They seem to have had success removing negative comments. Don't be fooled by the cheap veneer; this place is dirty, poorly run, has wack tenants, and management will try to cheat you. I had the same experience as the post below, only additionally, during move-out, they tried to illegally charge fees. Don't move here.

  I moved out in January and after the walk around they found nothing wrong. I gave them my forwarding address and they told me they would send me my deposit. It has been over a month. I’ve tried calling and emailing and I never get a straight response. They always keep telling me that they will contact me as soon as they figure it out. I really liked living here, the staff was friendly and I never had any issues with my neighbors, the place was generally clean. It’s disappointing to see what happened after I moved out.

  Management is selective of whom to help best. Of course newer residents would remark better experiences than older residents. This is fairly due to making newer residents happy and of course tend to their needs best. I have been living here for 3 years and within that time have experienced great and not so great managers. The last 2 years were rough as we experienced 2 slabs leaks and an enormous amount of heat in my unit. Currently now a lot of heat, plumbing issues and possibly a 3rd slab leak. First time around it was handled very poorly and without and consideration of my living situation or compensation to my rent as it was such a nightmare moving my furniture and life around for a building issue. We are again living the same nightmare currently and I have tired reaching out to management, regional management and all left me in the dark and now 1 whole week has now past with no current response. This property is managed so bad by Davlyn Investments that upon receiving this review there will surely be a comment advising for us to contact the office. No one in this place cares to leave their desk to check on issues. Maintenance is the only one seamlessly looking around for issues and even then things get overlooked. The property has potential to thrive but sadly it's not run very well at this time. Thankfully there are good reviews if people that are loving living here but sadly it has not been that for me since the new manager came in. That's my truth and this review will either let me know if there will be more retaliation or better communication through management.

  IF I COULD GIVE ONE STAR I WOULD. ROACHES, DIRTY, OLD ZERO UPGRADES, WHOLES, THE LADY IN THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE IS RUDE AF.. ONE AIR CONDITIONER. YOU WILL DIE IN THE SUMMER. MULTIPLE CAR BREAK INS AND 2 APTS GOT ROBBED, ON SITE MANAGEMENT WAS SCARED TO EVITE A WEIRD GUY AND POLICE WAS CALLED ON MULTIPLE TIMES. THE LIST GOES ON.. PLEASE INVEST, KEEP PEOPLE SAFE, YOUR PLACE HAS POTENTIAL START UPGRADING IT ONE BY ONE
