    Warning to prospective tenants: Proceed with caution if you value peace of mind, fair treatment, and transparency. I lived at Mira Bella Apartments in Bermuda Dunes, CA, for several years. My fiancé and I were respectful tenants who always paid rent on time through their online portal — until we encountered serious problems that escalated into a legal dispute. In February 2025, we reported a wobbly mirror closet door that later broke while my fiancé was trying to realign it. We had previously mentioned the issue during their inspection. When maintenance arrived weeks later with the wrong-sized replacement door, we politely raised concerns. The technician became upset and left mid-job — we even have video proof of this interaction. We brought the matter to the property manager, Martha Escobedo, who told us that if we didn’t like the way they handled things, we could “just move out.” When we responded that we would move out on our own terms, she served us with a Three-Day Notice to Quit just three hours later — a move that felt clearly retaliatory. We attempted to resolve things in good faith, calling FPI Management (the parent company) multiple times and even hired an attorney at our own expense, paying $3,200 for legal help. Despite this, the rent portal was blocked, and we were unable to pay March rent — something we can prove with dated screenshots. They still charged us late fees and attorney’s fees — even after they dropped their eviction case against us. That’s right — we filed an answer in court, and just days later, they dismissed the case without prejudice. We moved out on May 1 and submitted a change of address form, yet they falsely claimed we didn’t provide one and withheld our $600 deposit. Now, we are being chased by a collections agency for over $7,400 including late fees, attorney fees, and other unexplained charges. We are disputing the debt formally and preparing to take this to civil court. This was not just bad management — it was a deeply retaliatory and emotionally distressing experience. I now have medical documentation from urgent care and my primary doctor due to the anxiety this situation caused me. Please — if you are considering moving here, ask questions, document everything, and read the lease carefully. If anything goes wrong, you may find yourself on your own — like we did.

    Mirabella is a very quiet and tranquil place to live. The amenities are fantastic even thinking about our 4 legged buddies. The staff office and maintenance staff are very attentive and quick to help with anything you might need.

    If you’re looking for a beautiful apartment and perfect floor plan (I’m in a 1 bedroom top floor with private front porch and private back patio. The staff there is incredibly helpful and fast. Whenever I’ve needed maintenance or help with anything like a new key faub or gate opener etc. For maintenance they have always showed up that same day when it was urgent and usually same day for just normal maintenance needs over my time living here and fixed and even ordered me a brand new nice microwave bc I was having issues with mine when I first came back to live here again. I’d like to thank Martha for her excellent in person and on the phone hospitality, customer service and caring when I needed help with a flooding toilet among other things. She made sure it was fixed within an hour or so. She’s done the same with other maintenance issues snd both her and Alex have helped me get maintenance issues resolved. Shout out to Alex (apartment rental agent?) he was the one who worked very hard to get me an apartment here a few years ago and did a lot of work to get me that apartment. Due to some personal issues I had going on with proof of income etc. He did the same thing when I decided to move back to Mirabella a year or so later. So big shout out to Martha, Alex, and of course the EXCELLENT maintenance crew we have at Mirabella They truly care about their tenants and that’s a nice feeling knowing you’re in good hands. Thank you all! 5 stars !

    I lived in the E building… Bee’s came into my apartment through a hole in roof vent!!! They did absolutely nothing! Had to wait a week for the office to someone out to fix it. They did not refund me for the hotel. The bee’s were in my two year old daughters room.
