  Dirty building - the cleaner likes to dump lots of bleach on the lobby floors and in the elevators, but doesn't do much else.. stained hallway carpet, dirt smudges and stains on walls, etc. For a fairly new building, it looks quite beat up. The outside dumpsters are often overflowing, and some tenants frequently smoke weed and cigarettes right at the entrance to the parking lot.. which is gross and not a good look for visitors coming to the building. Management is unapproachable, incompetent, rude, accusatory, and overall has really poor communication skills. The manager (S.P.) complains to his wife, daughter and friends who live in the building - openly discussing building issues & specific tenants, which is actually a breach of confidentiality. He appears confused and offended when questioned about building policies. This building has had a new building manager almost yearly... which is not a good sign. His teenage daughter also roams the halls of the building at all hours with her pack of friends or boyfriend - very loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate bunch. There is a coffee station in the lobby, which has been gated off / locked for almost a year.. with no explanation from management about when it will re-open. It's a building amenity that cannot be utilized by residents, so hopefully whatever issue surrounding it is resolved soon.. as it's a wasted space. Also, the area / streets surrounding Hedstrom House are noisy - ambulance bay very close by, loud fencing yard right beside the building with obnoxious & crude workers yelling, lots of low income, partiers, addicts wandering the streets - lots of drug paraphernalia scattered in the small woods portion, and sometimes the sidewalk adjacent to the building. If you like a clean, fairly quiet and peaceful environment, with good quality management - Hedstrom House is one to avoid! 👎👎

  These people were terrible to me. I am a person with severe mental health issues, which we made them aware and they allowed our neighbors to bully us to an extent we had to leave. Better management is necessary

  My move-out experience was very disappointing. Before I moved out, Sergio inspected my unit and required me to fill every picture hook hole and repaint the spots using the paint he provided. I followed his instructions exactly, but the paint didn’t match the existing wall color, leaving visible patches. They then charged me $300 because of the color difference. What makes this even more frustrating is that I lived here for only one year, and there were already obvious paint color inconsistencies on the ceiling from their own painting work, which they apparently considered acceptable (see Photo 2). It feels like a clear double standard. Overall, the move-out process felt unfair, and I would recommend future tenants document everything carefully before moving in and moving out.

  I moved in a month ago and I absolutely love this property . New building with wonderful amenities and spacious apartments at a great location . The resident manager - Pinky is really helpful if you need assistance with anything. Highly recommended!

  Took over 6 months to repair the boiler. This meant no hot water at peak times (no credit on rent to tenants). Structural issues - major cracks and a steel bar in one stairwell windows to keep is from cracking… Moved out and they are now 3 days and counting late of returning my security & pet deposit.
