I was told that this WeWork location is pet-friendly, and WeWork’s website also lists the location as dog-friendly. However, when my dog sat on a footstool, the receptionist told me that dogs are not allowed on the furniture. I understand that there may be rules regarding pets and furniture, but I couldn’t find this specific rule on their website. More importantly, the way the receptionist spoke to me was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. My dog is very small—only 7 pounds—and I would have appreciated being informed about the rule politely and respectfully. Being pet-friendly should also come with clear communication and reasonable treatment of pet owners.
