Property Management is a tough gig, however, my buildings experience with Assoicia and our PM Ken, has been outstanding. We get more service from Ken and Associa than we have ever had with the two other Property Management companies the building has had in my 9 years at my property. Always professional , knowledgeable and looking at advising council as a "steward" of our largest asset, our homes. We are in our third year with Assoicia and the continuity with staff has been the same since we engaged their services, could never say that for the others we've had.
Ken Kantman is our property manager from Associa and he is great. He is friendly and knowledgeable, he responds to our requests in a timely fashion, and he goes above and beyond to help us resolve issues. We are very glad to be working with Ken and Associa.
My mom is very happy with the help from Vlad from Associa on her recent request to help clear illegal dumping of garbage in the condo common area, thank you very much

I have been on our Strata Council for several years. Our Strara is lucky to have Alex Matveev from Associa as our Community Manager . Alex is very knowledgable, fair and compassionate. He knows the SPA, our bylaws, how the CRT works and is also very knowledgeable about what contractors to hire. He treats all owners and residents fairly and kindly. And he has a great sense of humour.! I hope that Alex remains as our Community Manager for several more years.
It’s been a year since Associa switched us to another manager, Mahyar Attar (3rd one in 5 years). Mr. Attar apparently does not answer emails or phone calls from residents. Can’t tell if he’s incompetent or can’t handle the workload so he needs to block and ignore emails and calls. Maybe it’s now company policy. As a former council member who had worked with other strata management firms, I don’t recommend Associa since they continue to reduce services (e.g., office closes at 4 pm), shift responsibilities to the caretaker, while raising their management fees.
