Loved my experience with Angie. Professional, funny and gets stuff done! I had to return something but she was upstairs helping other people so i sat down and when she came back she initiated the talk to make sure i was helped. Thanks Mayfair

I recently moved into this apartment community, and the entire experience has been amazing. Angie was exceptional from the very beginning. She made my apartment tour enjoyable, took the time to answer all of my questions, and guided me through the leasing process with professionalism and patience. She also made my move in day incredibly smooth, ensuring everything was ready and making me feel welcome from day one.
One of the things I love most is the location. It’s in a convenient area with easy access to shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, major roads, and public transit, making everyday errands and commuting simple and stress-free.
I truly appreciate the excellent customer service Angie provided throughout the process. She went above and beyond to make everything easy, and it made a huge difference. I highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for a great place to live with an outstanding leasing team.

My wife and I lived at the Mayfair for over 5 years, and we really loved our time there.
The location is unbeatable, being located right above an LRT stop, a 2 minute walk away from a grocery store, and tons of restaurants nearby.
The staff are also incredibly friendly, and it's clear they really care about making sure everyone in the building enjoys living there. Maintenance requests were always handled very quickly and done correctly.
The building is beautiful, allows all kinds of pets, and in 5 years we've never felt unsafe in the building.
We're only moving out because we've outgrown the apartment and want some more space, but if you're looking to rent an apartment downtown, there's no better place to do it.

Me and my friend were looking for the best spot for us to get our first apartment together and we were introduced to mayfair on jasper ave by some friends. However it was Angie who really got us interested and convinced to join! She was super nice and patient on the phone even though we were just learning about renting. If you want to get a place with ease, make sure you talk to Angie!
I have mixed feelings about living at The Mayfair because there really is a lot to like about the building itself.
The property is clean, well maintained, and one of the more secure apartment buildings I’ve lived in. The location is fantastic. You’re connected to the LRT through the pedway, there’s a grocery store across the street, and downtown is right outside your door. If you want to live without a car, it’s hard to beat.
The building is also exceptionally pet friendly. Not many landlords are willing to accommodate large dogs, and that was something I genuinely appreciated. The front-line staff deserve recognition as well. Angie, Amanda, Ian, and Jordan were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful whenever my partner or I dealt with them.
Unfortunately, my experience with senior management completely overshadowed everything else.
When I tried to add my partner to my household, what should have been a straightforward conversation turned into months of frustration. The policies felt rigid, communication became increasingly difficult, and despite repeatedly asking for clarification, I was never given meaningful explanations for several decisions that directly affected my housing. Whether I agreed with the policies or not, I expected to be treated with more transparency and respect.
The most frustrating part came at the end of my tenancy. My fixed-term lease simply wasn’t renewed, and no reason was ever provided. While Alberta landlords generally aren’t required to explain a non-renewal, being refused any explanation after everything that had happened left me feeling disposable rather than valued as a tenant who always paid rent on time, looked after the unit, and genuinely enjoyed living there.
Looking back, I also regret how emotional I became during the process. Housing is stressful, and I wasn’t always at my best. Even so, I never felt like senior management genuinely wanted to resolve the situation or meet me halfway.
The Mayfair is a beautiful building with great amenities, an excellent location, and staff who work hard every day to make the property run smoothly. But in my experience, those positives were outweighed by a management culture that felt procedural rather than people-focused.
I don’t think everyone will have the same experience I did, and I sincerely hope other residents have a better one than I did. But after everything that happened, I couldn’t recommend living here.
