- PPPaolo PanisFeb 20, 20205.0I've lived in Raymond Block for nearly a year. There have been a few hiccups along the way but my overall experience has been great. Below is an honest pros and cons list: Cons: - Vehicle break-ins have occurred semi-regularly for vehicles parked at street level. There was one unfortunate occurrence where someone had slipped into the basement retail/residential parkade and broken a couple windows. - The garbage/recycling area located outside of the building is consistently littered. There have been reports of dumpster divers leaving a mess but I honestly believe that some tenants are inept at the simple task. - North/west facing units can get pretty loud during the summer with the vehicle traffic (especially motorcycles). - Fire alarm system goes off once every while - quite annoying. Pros: - Central location. Extremely high walk score. I usually park my vehicle on Friday and don't need to drive until the following Monday. - Great insulation between units. - Lots of light during the summer months. - Current management (Racquel) is doing an amazing job looking after her tenants. - Uber/taxi to downtown is always available (approx. $12). - Sleek design from lobby to bedroom.
