  People smoking cigarettes and weed everyday front and back entrance of the building even inside of the apartment and sadly always everyday i heard someone screaming and yelling and homeless people always inside and outside of the parking area pissing and window shopping on cars someone always taking the visitors parking and they are treating it as an everyday free parking with same cars everyday and every night.

  Safety concerns all the time. I have been followed by a man with a knife inside the parking lot. My car had the catalytic converter stolen inside the parking lot. It was supposed to be my home, but I couldn't feel safe at all.

  The building is well-maintained, and any maintenance requests I’ve submitted were handled quickly and efficiently — often within a day. The building manager is also incredibly friendly and helpful (thank you Nancy and Aman). From move-in to everyday questions, they’ve always been approachable and responsive, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

  I've lived here since 2018, including moving (upgrading) suites within the building at one point. Having lived at Grand Central Manor for almost 7 years, and intending to stay much longer, I don't think I could give less than a 5-star review. The building's location in central Edmonton cannot be beat, the concrete construction means you never hear your neighbors, and the balconies are spacious and private. The "new" owners of the building (transition occurred several years ago) have invested in renovating suites, common areas/amenities, and added security measures. There was a period of churn in the admin office, but current staff are responsive, kind, and accommodating, and the maintenance people have always been top tier at these buildings. I would say the rent is reasonable for all that you get, especially compared to other buildings downtown that are less well maintained and in less convenient locations. If you want convenient walkable access to almost everything you could want or need downtown, I recommend Grand Central Manor I or II.
