  Just had some repair work done on our bathroom fan at The Westfield, which lately had started to sound like a garbage disposal in the ceiling when turned on. Brian was able to determine that the motor was the issue and was able to remove it from the cage & housing, leave to find a new replacement, come back within the hour and install it and remount the unit. This fan is so quiet now, it could run in a public library. I just want to make sure Brian gets some well deserved credit for his expertise - and diligence.

  Be prepared to manage the property management company. Three months ago I had a water leak in my unit that damaged my kitchen and flooring. Since then I have heard from Associa 3 - 4 times in the past three months, despite calling and emailing my property manager frequently. I found out two weeks ago that a claim has actually not been opened by the strata - something that is blocking my ability to arrange my insurance payout and schedule repairs. I've followed up several times since then to check the status and have not been able to reach the property manager. It is unreasonable to be waiting on the property management company to perform simple tasks for weeks that affect my day-to-day living conditions.

  Wow! What a pleasure it was working with Brian from the Associa maintenance team! He very kindly installed some visitor parking signs around our property. He also was able to offer a suggestion about how we could put the signs into concrete buckets so they would be portable around our property and we can move them around if we ever needed to. Great troubleshooting! I am the chair of a townhouse strata council and it's been a pleasure working with him. I'd also like to commend the work of Carmen who does the maintenance scheduling and who arranged for the work in the first place. She's also delightful to deal with. Finally, I'd also like to amplify the work of Clinton from the maintenance team who does a lot of work around our property and is always very pleasant to work with. Great teamwork, everyone!
