  I've found that the building management is accommodating and will go out of their way to help with special requests. The overall building safety and maintenance schedule is one of the best for a rental property in my experience. Routine annual cleaning of the parkade etc. While it's sometimes inconvenient to have more than one or two scheduled visits a year to your unit, it's peace of mind that they are maintaining the cooling systems, water systems, hvac and fire safety. Daniel, the building manager has been quick to reply when needed. Thanks for unlocking my unit when I forgot my keys inside after fixing my AC! Even though it was dinner time.

  They did not help my friend feel welcome. Nor did they fix any defects that were brought to their attention. They ignored everything my friend brought to their attention that would’ve made this a habitable home.

  Standard newer build apartment building. Major positive asset: Steve the building manager. Very responsive to issues big or small. Respects the tenant. Could trust in him to follow up whatever the request. He always gave notice of any maintenance or neighbourhood issues being addressed. Amicable and likable. Unit had AC dishwasher and in suite laundry. Major downside was constant construction of other buildings nearby, as well as roadwork. Busy Peatt Road. Other than that it was a relatively quiet building and no safety issues

  We’ve been very happy living here over 1-1/2 years. Our neighbours are great and everyone seems really friendly, especially other tenants with pets. The high ceilings and balcony make everything feel spacious so it’s wonderful to come home and relax. Our building manager keeps all the common areas well maintained and is very responsive to situations that arise and fixes any repairs needed in a timely manner. The neighbourhood in downtown Langford is really growing and it’s easy to walk to everything we need to get groceries, liquor stores, pubs & restaurants. The best restaurant is House of Boateng and is right in Peatt Commons building! There are also lots of cool and unique shops and services along Goldstream. But the big box stores and malls are super close too. It’s very handy to walk dogs along the E&N railroad trail and keep our apartment clean by using the dog wash in the building. We are excited for the adjoining Peatt Commons West building to open soon, where a pet-friendly garden will be available to our community.
