Hello I just wanted to take a minute to reply to Mrs. Elizabeth Rubbo and say Hi Elizabeth,
I’m sorry to hear that this was your experience, but I want to offer a different perspective as someone who also lived in this community for nearly ten years. My experience has been far more positive than what you described, and many of the claims here don’t reflect what I witnessed during my time living here.
It’s also important to note that several long-term residents recall ongoing conflicts involving you personally, especially regarding how you interacted with staff and neighbors. The community has clear expectations about respectful communication toward employees and residents, and those standards apply to everyone. When those boundaries are repeatedly crossed, it can shape someone’s experience in a way that has more to do with personal conduct than the community itself.
Regarding the photos you shared of the fallen tree, that incident was the result of a natural weather event, not a staffing or management issue. Sometimes the environment simply does what it does, and no amount of preparation can prevent certain things.
Your perspective is yours, but it doesn’t represent the experience many of us have had here. I genuinely hope your new living situation is a better fit for you.

Lived there for 12 years and had to move due to Lack of proper security. The homeless are just allowed to walk in and out. They have broken into homes and the police are called and they are just allowed to pack up their stuff and walk away. There was a homeless man living in one of the snowbirds houses for over a month before somebody noticed it. They spend thousands of dollars on trying to evict people that feed homeless cats that are protected by Pima County Law. Vicki, the manager of the complex is completely incompetent and ignorant of the laws for Pima County. The pictures you see on their website are not the current pictures. The large trees fell down and destroyed homes. The place is dilapidated. The shuffleboard is rotting away. The streets are paid by The cheapest contractor they could find constant flooding. The pool area did not reach ADA compliance for many years and have a pool lift for the disabled to use the pool. Most of the time it’s not even charged. They end up having to be lifted out by community members. I do not suggest living here visiting here, putting an RV here buying a home here anything avoid this place at all costs!!!

Don't live there, and from reviews sounds like a blessing. Just think years ago before Google reviews, where after you moved in it was to late to know what kind of hell you had moved in to. Thank you to the people for posting honest reviews. I'll keep looking elsewhere.
