My experience at Asteria apartments, owned by WWC Recap Asteria JV, LP, Western Wealth Communities, LLC, could not be explained in 1 other word other than HORRIBLE. Asteria & Western wealth Communities have the most UNPROFESSIONAL and INHUMANE employees I’ve EVER dealt with, being a young professional myself.
Starting with property manager ELLE ENRIQUEZ . Oct 18 I put in service request about MOLD and a leak, I was sent a computer generated email that maintenance would reach out, confirming my request had been received. Maintenance did not reach out. I went to the office to ask Elle about my request, Elle stated my emails nor my service request were received. And that she would “never let me live in mold”…that was false 😒 . I then checked my resident app to see my maintenance request was CANCELLED . Later that day, she sent RICHARD (maintenance) to change my air filters and patch the leak, Richard said he would have someone inspect it Monday to determine if it’s Mold . That day, Monday, Richard invites an unlicensed “mold inspector” to my unit to determine whether there is mold or not. Richard and Sonorazz both said it’s not MOLD and neither Richard or the contractor are credible to determine Mold. I tested it myself 2 times, and it came back SIX HUNDRED-FORTY TIMES (640x) higher than the already extreme count of 500. At 320,000 SPORE COUNT.
TIMOTHY Ruditys (Vice President), ELLE Enriquez (property manager), RICHARD Dixon (maintenance), DOMINIQUE Williams (assistant pm), were all provided the results. They hired Milan’s Carpet Cleaning who again, is NOT certified in cleaning MOLD, to scrape my vents and vacuum up the mold. Even after being vacuumed, mold results came back 150,000 spore count!!! Richard states, on camera that was in my unit. “These are some of the best I’ve seen on the inside.” After being provided proof of the existence of mold is..unbelievable. After providing a proper 5 day written notice to WWC Recap Asteria JV LP about health and safety issues, pursuing my tenant rights. Elle presented the opportunity of signing a mutual rescission to end the lease agreement. Elle said their lawyer handles all mutuals and that she would have him provide said document right away which was on Friday at 2pm. Christopher Walker ( Attorney ) sends me a mutual rescission /Settlement on SATURDAY . Elle said a mutual rescission, NOT a settlement. The settlement stated, I could not 1. Sue them 2. Make any disparaging comments about them or their tenants, which was not including both parties,only me . 3.Talk about any of my experience of the dispute with them. 4.I would have had to delete my social media posts related to this issue. 5. Stated i had the opportunity to obtain legal counsel and either waived seeking such advice
or that they have relied on legal advice from the attorneys of their own choice,. WHEN DO LAWYERS TAKE NEW CLIENTS ON WEEKENDS? OR WORK AND ANSWER EMAILS ON SATURDAYS? I emailed the amount I wanted for a settlement if that’s what they wanted me to sign. And stated the verbiage that needed to be changed. Mr Walker (attorney) proceeds to not respond on Saturday, but THREATEN me on a SUNDAY EVENING AT 5 pm, that if I don’t sign the mutual/ settlement as is , I will be charged all move out costs under the lease. Which they can not do, due to their gross negligence and failure to keep a healthy and safe environment for their tenant , after being given a 5 day notice. When I went to turn in my keys they let me know that they are “ gonna try to come after me”. And that he (Dominique) wasn’t gonna charge me anything for the apartment 🤨. As of yesterday Nov 7th , Timothy Ruditys was the last person to threaten me with move out fees. Very disappointing. Why can’t I put 0 stars? lol
