  Fitness center looks like it’s from the 90s…pool chairs also look like they are 40 years old…red rocks around the complex are dangerous and end up on the sidewalks where people trip on them , ie..my elderly mother. No water pressure. More concerned if you smoke LEGAL weed than making sure the place is clean and up to date.

  Great place to live and good people around us, we have lived here this time for little over 3 years, prior to that we rented here for around 6 years or so. We like the area, lots of older people here that remind me of my grandmother. We live in the back end this time near 96th st, prior we lived near the car wash area and mailboxes. Both areas have been nice but I will say we prefer near 96th street side. Beautiful walking trail right outside our door, we can hear birds chirping almost all year long. We have not had many dealing with maintenance, like 2 or 3, microwave replacement and at times the AC can leak. The ac is just backed up drain pipe though, takes 5 min with a wet dry vacuum from underneath the bathroom sink. We pay rent online so have only been in the office 4 or so times but each time they have been friendly. So yes we would recommend it.

  If I could give zero stars to this complex, I would. CA company and the place is falling apart. Old appliances, leaks and constant water shut offs. The smells in the drain and the bugs that have been present since day one. I wondered how this place could have a four star review overall, and then I realized most of them are from people who only toured the complex but do not have the misfortune of living here. False advertising. Ventana should be on notice that it is illegal to gate reviews and request / bribe residents to change their reviews. The units are small, long cells with tiny box shaped windows and only few larger windows that let in light. Office staff is nice until you have an issue, then the gaslighting begins. They do nothing to address concerns. Ventana claims to have a no smoking policy yet the smell of pot and cigarette smoke is present day and night. Loud neighbors who seem to drink and fight constantly. Do yourself a favor and read through the negative reviews. They are consistent and the issues have gone on for years. Place is a dump, much nicer and equally affordable options in the area.

  I lived at Ventana for 4 years, 2 different units both on the first floor. The 2 bedroom is incredibly spacious, ~1,100 sqft loved the walk in closets and I had no issues with noise from the floor above me. The 1 bedroom under the townhouse is also very spacious for a 1 bedroom unit I think over 900sqft. Only problem is that there is no carpet on the first floor of the townhomes which means you hear absolutely everything and it rattles walls if the people above you have pets or kids running around. Just something to be mindful of. Other than that, I truly enjoyed living here, maintenance was always quick to respond, management was nice. Units are outdated in terms of cabinets and appliances but for the price and space it’s not that bad. Very nice area and safe neighborhood. Definitely recommend this complex if you’re wanting a quiet neighborhood in north Scottsdale and prioritize space over luxury.

  We loved living at Ventana Apartments and made so many amazing memories. The two-bedroom layout was super comfortable, and one of the walk-in closets is so huge it's almost its own tiny bedroom! We are sooo gonna miss the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from our patio, rainbows and gradient skies included. We got spoiled with a close parking spot. No pests. We had chill neighbors, prompt maintenance, and professional management who made everything easy. The location is perfect, close to grocery store, shops, and the gym. I'd recommend it considering its price point value in the area. If there were three-bedroom units, we’d absolutely stay, we’re definitely going to miss Ventana!
