  I leased a home with connections for gas and electric in laundry room. I could not get any help with a change to update for gas dryer connection...I got the run-around for two weeks, speaking to a different person each time I called (over ten times) to get assistance. After two weeks, I was back to square one. I had to pay for an out of code gas connection myself if I wanted to hook up my newly purchased gas dryer. Customer service people knew nothing about household repairs and were no help. I had just purchased a gas dryer, and it sat in the garage for two weeks waiting to be hooked up. The cost for me to bring the house gas line attachment UP TO CODE (LEGAL BUILDING CODE!) by a private plumbing company EXCEEDED $500.00! I do not recommend this company to anyone at any time.

  I'm a current long-time resident in the PHX metro area, and I have had Shawn as a repair/maintenance guy for at least a couple small jobs and he is truly the best! Fixes exactly what's wrong quickly and goes above and beyond. I appreciate Shawn! He gets 5 stars!!

  The technician, Shawn, came out to my new rental house and evaluated a couple of different issues I noticed when I moved in. He came back and took care of the issues I had promptly and effectively, and he even noticed my blink doorbell had fallen and put it back up for me, as he knew I was away at the time. I appreciate him going above and beyond what was necessary during his visit.

  I’ve had an excellent experience renting from this company. They are responsive and easy to communicate with whenever I need to reach out about anything. What really stands out is how quickly they handle service requests - maintenance issues are addressed promptly and professionally. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable rental company that genuinely takes care of their tenants. I especially want to highlight Jenne, who is incredibly helpful. She’s was very prompt with her responses, very understanding, and comes across as a genuinely kind person. It makes such a difference to work with someone who is both professional and personable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable rental company that genuinely takes care of their tenants.

  We found a beautiful property at 820 S Adams Way, Gilbert, AZ, and were very hopeful about moving forward. I am a single mother and a nursing student who submitted all required documentation, including verified income from Banner and Nurseio, which clearly met the income requirements for the home. Despite meeting the financial criteria, I was denied solely based on my personal credit score, even though I had a co-applicant with a credit score in the 800s. His credit was never run, because Progress Residential stated it would not be considered since he was marked as “not responsible for rent,” which makes no logical or professional sense when credit was the deciding factor. After this denial, we were informed by a representative that we did NOT need to repay the application fees, since they had already been paid. However, the online portal repeatedly prompted us to pay again, creating confusion and unnecessary delays. While I was able to fully resubmit my portion of the application, my co-applicant was never able to complete his application due to ongoing portal issues. We spent hours calling customer service trying to resolve this. At one point, we were even instructed to print the application and email scanned documentation, which I did immediately. I am very computer-savvy and had no difficulty navigating the system — the issue was clearly internal. Despite repeated calls and follow-ups, no one resolved the problem or provided a clear explanation. I am a nursing student trying to finish school and simply wanted a smaller, manageable home to move forward with my son. Instead, I was emotionally drained and forced to restart my entire housing search. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was already approved for a newly built home in Gilbert, but passed on it to pursue something more suitable for my current needs. This experience was unprofessional, stressful, and unnecessary. Housing should not be handled this way. I do not recommend Progress Residential to single parents, students, or anyone expecting transparency and accountability. From my experience, **Invitation Homes and Red Hawk were far more professional and responsive. Try Red Hawk or invitational Home. Save yourself the stress. Thank me later.
