  I live next door to a home owned my Progress Residential. One of their palm trees had pushed into our shared fence causing it to lean. Deanna was able to get the tree removed and the wall repaired despite weather issues and communication challenges. I’m very grateful for her help. It’s clear she really cares for her properties and wants to do right by their neighbors.

  Working with Progress Residential has been so easy with finding, touring, applying, and getting approved for my first house. All my questions were answered with efficiency and Cynthia made the whole move in and follow up process feel like I wasn’t just talking with any representative, but like I was talking with an old friend. All prices and policies were completely true on their listings and there was nothing hidden from the renter as other renters tend to try and do. In the future when we consider moving again we will definitely use Progress Residential as they are extremely friendly, honest, and knowledgeable about anything and everything I’ve had questions or concerns about while they still retain a perfect balance of professionalism.

  We have been renting through Progress for several years now and their staff has made the entire process of renting largely trouble-free. Any issues that we have encountered have been addressed quickly by maintenance, and moving from one of their properties to another has been wonderfully handled by their staff. Our agent Deanna personally did her best to make sure our move was handled smoothly and went out of her way to resolve any issues we encountered both before and after the move. Very happy with all the help she provided, and am now settled comfortably into my new home.

  AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!! Progress Residential is hands down the most unprofessional, negligent, and dishonest company I’ve ever had to work with. I leased a home sight unseen while moving from out of state. I figured working with a large management company, I’d avoid issues like rental scams, but I was SO wrong. What I arrived to on move in day, 2 weeks after Progress had the home “ready” for me, was awful. The home hadn’t been cleaned, roaches and spiders everywhere, and dog feces left in the backyard by the previous tenants. I immediately called Angelina, the leasing agent, who told me there was nothing she could do and that I should submit a work order and someone would call me on the next business day. I followed up by phone and email every single day for the next 3 weeks before anyone from Progress called me to discuss any of my concerns with the house. In that time I was passed off by every person I spoke to at Progress, everyone told me someone would call me right away, but that was a lie. After another week of waiting for “leadership” to review my concerns, I was told these issues were my fault for not seeing the house and bringing these issues to their attention before I moved in. Absolutely unreal. Now, three months into my lease, they’ve been repeatedly billing me for electricity at a completely different address than mine, in another city, and no one seems to know why it’s happening or how to stop it. No one at this company takes ownership of anything. You’ll never reach anyone beyond a call center that can’t actually fix anything. Leadership and accountability is nonexistent at Progress. They’re a scam disguised as a property management company. I’m counting down the days until my lease ends so I never have to deal with this absolute joke of a company ever again.
