I had a showing scheduled for 8 AM that I confirmed both days in advance and again 30 minutes before the appointment. The realtor never showed up. I called the office, her personal number, and sent a text with no response. Extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend this service.

Sharing my experience with Northpoint asset management and justifying my rating accordingly. 1. We leased our Phoenix home with Northpoint in 2024. Now, the goal of property management is to ensure that landlords do not need to be involved in every issue. But that fair assumption was soon proven wrong. My wife and I ended up hunting for tenants ourselves instead of the management company doing any proactive effort. That is just a small concern and I don't blame them too much for it. But this could be improved. 2. For any HoA issue, maintenance, or work order, I had to chase the property manager myself and often wait for days before getting a response. Now that is clearly not good. If we do the maths, the amount of time it takes to chase the manager vs the amount of time it takes to actually address the issue, it appears we were putting more effort for smaller gain. It undermines the whole purpose of property management in the first place. 3. After having to put up with this a few times, we decided to switch to another property management company which has been an overall good experience. They are more optimally prices and always approachable. 4. Once our tenants moved out, I had to get the move-in checklist to assign repairs cost. But NorthPoint did not provide us with the checklist. I have called them a few times. My wife left messages. But there is no response. Now this is inexcusable in my view. If they never did a checklist, that is negligence in the first place. If they had it and lost it, still negligence. If they have it and are planning on not returning it, then that's malpractice. Hence my overall score of 1. But I am not here simply to share my frustration. Let me outline the next steps that can help NorthPoint. 1. Be very clear and diligent in your move-in and move-out process. Have checklists and be prepared to share them with the landlords. 2. Try being more responsive and proactive. That goes a long way. In addition to this attribute being professional, it is also a good customer service that can help retain clients. Again, do the maths. The time and effort it took me to find a new management company could have been saved if only the responsiveness was better. 3. Guide your landlords and assume they don't know much. That's care and professionalism as well. If the mortgage on the house is 30 years, you have (in theory) a client that you can keep for 30 years or maybe more. In the long-run that is a good business you can earn and retain. I hope this helps.

Heaven P has been VERY HELPFUL with our new house that we just moved into, in the Phoenix area. She has quickly answered any questions that I had, and continues to do so. It was a rather smooth process to go through the application, sign the lease, and move in. All of our business was finished within maybe a week or so. It has been GREAT to work with you!!!

Signed up for a self tour but the website wouldn’t allow me access to lock box code. Could not reach a live person for help. I wonder if the homeowner knows how the management company is falling down on the job!
