    Move-In process was smooth and easy. We moved last second due to some crazy maintenance issued at our old place, and Donna was able to get us through the process and into Avilla Canyon in less than 3 days… all during Christmas Week. She has been great!

    Been here for a week now. So far so good! Donna has been super nice through our entire application process and very informative on move-in day. Me and my fiance definitely needed that moving all the way from Austin Texas, We already called about 1 thing we had a question about and called right when they closed so then the next day we received multiple calls back! Very helpful and nice knowing we have an amazing staff. And this apartment speaks for itself, insanely beautiful! For those who are looking at this place and seeing the complaints, they are non existent now in my opinion. Specially the parking situation

    I tried having a conversation with the property manager John Dickson and he was rude and condescending. Avilla Canyon has been charging me $50 per month for non compliance with renter’s insurance, as I don’t use their ePremium insurance as it ridiculously overpriced. Instead of requesting my proof of insurance they have been charging me a monthly fee. Once I realized this and showed proof of insurance they will not remove the charge off my account or reimburse me for the time period where I have been charged for having another renter’s insurance policy. I requested to speak to John’s boss and he refused to give me their name or contact information saying he doesn’t have the right to give it to me. He has terrible customer service so I wouldn’t recommend leasing while he is still in charge. Also, I have had multiple incidences of flooding in my backyard due to the poor construction of the pipes and have had to relocate my dog until the incidences were resolved. In addition the gate hardly has been working for the past few months which is a major security risk. After all of this you would think they would try to reimburse me what I was wrongly charged as it has been a lot putting up with the failures here.

    False advertising!!! "(Insert how ever many weeks) free if you lease now!"- LIES. Emailed them several times after they said no charge would be applied this month, then they charge me and stop responding.

    Management has changed numerous times since our move in. Resident activities were monthly and now not at all. The security gate has been broken more than it has been operable in the last year...was fixed recently after being broken for over 2 months and is broken again within two weeks!!!
