  Essentials to help you decide: 1. This is a place that encourages people who tour the complex to leave a review. That means a ton of the ratings here are unsubstantiated and you should subtract at least a full star from the rating. 2. This place encourages antisocial behavior. Not asocial (eg - likes being alone most of the time), antisocial (eg - "me" first attitude with no regard for anyone or anything around you). 3. Zero parking spaces or garages are designed for modern, light-duty pickup truck and passenger van dimensions. 4. Like using sidewalks? Want you or your kids to avoid walking in roadways? This is probably not the place for you. 5. When you can walk down a sidewalk, do you enjoy getting thwapped in the face with bushes and trees, dirtying your shoes by wading through landscaping runoff, or hitting your shins on trailer hitches from residents practicing the aforementioned antisocial behavior? This is definitely the place for you. 6. There's no traffic signs except for fire lane indicators. 7. Instead, this place has been bunch of speed bumps to slow you down. No, not the gentle speed humps, the harsher bumps. 8. This is a place that tries to lower listing prices by separating required costs out of core rent, yet doesn't want to list the average cost of utilities that you'll be paying for the leasing office, pools, etc. Pretty shady, eh? 9. Like the sound of freeways and revving cars 24/7/365? This is the place for you. I could go on, but I have other things to do. If you have any other options or don't have to live in Peoria, then I'd encourage you not to. Of you have a "sports" car (mustang, challenger), "manly" pickup truck, or sport bike / crotch rocket, this is definitely place for you.

  I absolutely love living here! The staff is genuinely some of the friendliest & helpful I’ve ever met. They are always putting together events for the residents, which really helps build the community and make it feel like home. Madison, who helps with new move-ins, has been such a blessing—she’s kind, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. Maintenance is also incredible. Every time I’ve put in a request, they’ve responded quickly and handled everything with so much professionalism. You can tell they care about the property and the residents. The amenities are amazing and always well maintained. The whole community feels safe, clean, and peaceful, which makes coming home every day such a relief. I’ve lived in a lot of apartments, and this is by far my favorite. Highly recommend!

  This review is long over due, but very much well deserved. We rented here for two years and ended our lease due to deciding to buy a home, but honestly we were not looking forward to our lease coming to an end due to the community and the hospitality created by Ruthanne and the Staff. While yes it would be nice to have a 24 hour lobby, this is just unrealistic with previous attempts to try to satisfy residents and still being victims of vandalism, So this is understandable. The gym really has everything you need and the apartment complex is very tucked away and hidden from busy roads. The trails that surround the property are great for runners and walkers and the pool and spa were always working for us. The community is very dog friendly and the staff is very supportive of small businesses you may be wanting to start. Ruthanns kindness is like no other manager you will ever come across at another complex she is genuine and full of joy. The maintenance is great too and the property is clean and well kept for the most part aside from some noisy neighbors but that’s just apartments for you. Thank you guys for being the bridge to our homeownership and this review should have been done months ago.

  Ocio is a wonderful place to call home! The office staff are always friendly and helpful, and they really care which makes all the difference. The maintenance team is amazing too and gets everything taken care of right away. Walking the grounds is peaceful, the amenities are upscale and always well kept, the covered parking is a life saver in the summer, and the overall experience is fantastic. Highly recommend.
