We are a Corporate lease. We have 7 apartments here and are extremely happy with all of them. Rain our leasing agent has been awesome in helping us get them all set up. Location by the 202 freeway is very convenient. You will love it here.

Rain Talbot the manager at Ascend Red Mountain was a delight to work with as she detailed the rental property and gave a walk through site visit. She was very professional, polite, patient and friendly. She answered every question throughly and always asked if I had any questions. She expressed how proud of the property community and it staff. Highly recommend checking out this opportunity if in the market. Thank you for this experience.

Been here for about a month now, I'm new to Arizona and mesa and I'm single with no kids. The staff here is amazing to say the least ! They are all knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Shamail went above and beyond to help me move into a more preferable unit after 1 day of being here. I cannot emphasize how thankful I am for her, she deserves a raise. I’ve also had a few interactions with Rain and Jamie and they are wonderful as well. I live in a 1 bedroom and they have high ceilings with fans and all the amenities you could ask for. I was worried about thin walls but I have no complaints now that I've been here for a while. I never hear neighbors and have no problem going to sleep early to wake up early for work. Both buildings have mostly north and south windows so having the sun shining directly through your windows throughout the day is no concern. They have easy access to everything you could ask for and that's not even mentioning the location. Being in a quiet area is so important but also having access to just about everything you could ask for within a 5 mile radius is unbelievable. From the pool to the fitness room to the parcel room to the free parking (reserved/designated parking also available) to the quick and efficient maintenance and anything else I forgot, I absolutely love it here. They also have a day care for all the parents. They also have community events occasionally if that's something that you're interested in. The rent is affordable and I would suggest this location to anyone who is interested or looking.

I loved living here at Ascend Apartments for 3 years, in apartment 1046. It’s a quiet and relaxing place to live. The maintenance crew was great and usually came the same day or next business day for service. Everything was great until we got our final move out bill and charges. $537.00 after our $250 deposit was taken. We opted to have the apartment/their vendor clean which was $150 for a 2-bedroom apartment. The carpet cleaning done by a third-party carpet cleaning company was $65 and $5 fuel charge. In November we had a ticket request to get our oven display fixed since it was broken. While the maintenance guy (nice, tall, slender man) I asked him about patching up some holes on the wall, and showed him the wall, as we are moving out in December. Mind you I asked him in from of my wife and father-in-law. What do we have to do to get this fixed, so we don't get charged for the holes that were in the second bedroom since I hung up racks to hang up our bikes on the wall. I even walked him into the second bedroom to show him. In addition, I asked about matching up the paint. He said, “if the holes are not bigger than a quarter don’t worry about it and will take care of it, usually people fix it themselves and mess it up even more and it causes more work for us.” I took his word for it and left it as is. We were charged for 3 walls at $30 a piece for patch repair. I could have fixed it myself or hired a professional for cheaper. 1 wall I knew needed patching but what were the other 2 walls? The living room I had one large photo hanging with dry wall screws and 2 nails with 2 small canvases hanging on them but nothing major that should have led to $30 to repair that wall. And what was the 3rd wall? I am not sure what that extra charge could have been. I definitely should not have taken the maintenance guy's word. We were charged $25/wall to repaint 14 walls! The bogus explanation that my wife provided in regard to this was “many times walls are dirty or if you burn candles there’s residue on the walls, so they need repainting. Is it normal to get charged to repaint all those walls? We kept the place clean and tidy without any messes on the walls. In my past experience renting from other apartments, it’s standard for the apartment complex to repaint the bulk of the apartment prior to the next tenant moving in, without laying all of these repaint charges on the tenant that just moved out. Next is the carpet cleaning which we thought was going to be $70. In the end we were charged $160. We had an $85 charge that was named “color restore.” We kept the carpet clean, vacuumed frequently and did not leave any stains. Did this place get charged color restore before we moved in during December 2020? The reason I say that is because this place had used carpet, not new and the entrance to the guest bedroom and the going into the bathroom form the master bedroom has the floor pretty worn down from the previous tenant but also, we didn’t make a big deal about and left it as is. This probably should have been replaced in the first place. So, if they got a color restore added, that will let you know if they're likely doing this on purpose to get extra money out of you. The explanation received for what “color restore” is to “recolor high traffic areas.” The next tenant beware of being charged for something like this if the carpet was not new. Since they did a color restore it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t replace it. Or imagine being charged for color restore then they rip out the carpet. My wife sent Rain an email inquiring about the charges on our final bill and she set up an appointment for us to come down to discuss the charges. I was sick and I could make it. My wife felt it was a waste of time and none of the charges were reduced. If you move into 1046, I hope they replace the carpet unlike they did with us. If not, you will be charged an additional $85 to your move out bill. We didn’t think we would move out of Ascend, feeling extremely disappointed.
