  My hubs and I have been here almost a year. We really love living here. We’ve lived in several new luxury apartments (we have a basis for comparison) and I think this is a tie for first place. The space: Having our own space (without the headache of a full on home) has been really nice. The unit’s high ceilings make the spaces feel larger and homier. These first two points make this place stand out. And the “neighborhood” style layout with greens, benches, and cute walkways also add to a homey vibe. Additionally, the finishes are nice and easy to maintain. And the community areas are always clean and comfortable. The management: There was some turnover when we first moved in, but then Mickey arrived shortly after we did. She’s been a gem. She really listens and cares about resident’s needs and takes on a true advocate role. It’s a refreshing difference from management at many of our prior places. She also puts on frequent nice resident events for mingling and resident appreciation - something that can be overlooked in smaller complexes (in my experience). The vibes she cultivates is relaxed and positive. The location: We love fountain hills in general. But the location of pillar is perfect. It’s very walkable. I can walk to grocery, pharmacy, my doctor, my stylist, UPS, the post office, hardware….literally everything you need is in a walkable few blocks. Additionally, Fountain Park is close for running/walking as well as well maintained sidewalks and quiet neighborhood street all around. I can road bike out of my door safely and mountain biking in McDowell Mountain Park is just 10 minutes away (tons more within 30 minutes!). And the views all around are wonderful and peaceful. It’s a great location for active people!

  It was a good visit. Very nice homes. Was looking into shorter rental period. Very nice staff.
