- MDMichael DeWaalApr 22, 20245.0WV/Rucker managed our home purchase better than anyone in the last 20+ years involved in home sales and acquisition. Last month (March 2024) We had an Underwriter issue where they listed certain criteria, that was met then rejected. Alison went to bat for us, reviewed all doc submittals and "did something" where senior management at the Underwriter office approved our loan that day, allowing Alison to let us know our loan was approved. She was following the news associated with interest rate changes and we were actually able to close our loan at a rate lower than where we started by over 3/4%. Weird times, but she was keeping us informed the whole way.
