The 5 stars are for Troy in maintenance, when our hot water heater went out, he called within 30 minutes of the request, and got it fixed, he also fixed the garage door in about 5 minutes, he is definitely an asset to the Ashley

Troy was amazing! I had to reschedule a couple of times and felt really bad, however the service was great. He was able to replace two doors in my home in under an hour with little to no disruption to the house. Thank you so much!!!!!! 😊

It's frustrating to have to write this review, but given dishonest practices of the company it feels necessary to warn others before they rent here. I was the primary applicant on the lease for my ex wife after our divorce for this apartment. At the time I gave her my honest opinion: this place is well over market value for the rent, location and the amenities. I pay about 70% less for the same Internet speeds as she does, only she was locked into their Internet package by force. Additionally, I stressed the concern of going with a complex that wasn't fully established. It was no surprise to me when they were bought out halfway through her lease by a company that is notoriously good at "seeming luxurious". Over the year she lived there, she experienced so many issues with repairs, office communication, etc. Both the new and old company had the same dishonest practices. Avoiding emails (sometimes for weeks) and if you go in person, they'll tell you something completely different than what's said later in writing. They often would blame things on training issues, transitioning to the new property, etc. But not once would they hold themselves accountable. I think there was also a bit of misogyny going on (even with all female staff) as they almost never helped my ex wife until I called or emailed or went in. I'd say the exact same thing in the same way, the only difference is I'm male and she's female. She often felt helpless, unheard and lied to. At the end of her lease I took over while she moved out. I hired a company to professionally clean and I had the staff do a pre walkthrough to address any major concerns they had so I could repair if needed. At the time they told me the apartment has no major issues. But after move out they not only took the entire deposit, but charged her excess costs. Even stating rental items were missing when they were not. I made a point to take photos before I left and again after the cleaning company finished. None of that mattered of course, their word against mine at this point. I had her go in and pay the fees, explaining that all we can do is share our experiences and hope we can help others from making the same mistakes. If you're a current resident, please don't be hard on yourself. We made the same mistake too and at the end of the day, it's their job to hide the issues from new renters. My final note, is that the complex really went down hill the last few months. I felt less and less safe to visit with my daughter. It seems as though maybe they had to lower their rental requirements due to the bad reviews. They also started using AI responses and interacted almost exclusively with AI, which was obvious because it never really addressed a concern/sounded strangely worded. It reminded me of the scripts you hear from call centers or automated email responses. That's partly why I told my ex wife to give up and just pay, that this wasn't ran by genuine people before and it's definitely not now.

I was debating heavily if this is worth some wildly long review or to leave it as "Do not live here", but I can't truly describe how horrible my experience has been in a few words. From the moment the lease was signed and still months after move out. They changed companies once when I lived at this property, both companies were bad, but the current one is a nightmare. Imagine that kind of toxic relationship you may have had with someone, that is hard to quit because sometimes it gets better and they make promises, but then blind side you a week later. That's this property and it would be better if they stopped being fake and just approached it as they really are, toxic and cruel. Borderline abusive in the way they deny receiving emails, phone calls, in person conversation, etc. If you do anything with them get it in writing with confirmation from their office manager over email. If it's in person, record the interaction and ask them to state their names, dates, etc. Do nothing just based on their verbal words. No matter how nice they seem, do not trust them. For the property, some aspects are nice, but the pool was never heated and I lived there over a year. Not once did they heat it even though so many complained. This place is one of the most expensive places in the valley. You're forced into internet/cable costs that are triple the regular rates and valet trash is hit or miss, many times you'll just carry it to the trash yourself anyway. The new company also started to drop their renting requirements and the new tenants slowly became less and less quiet. Repairs and maintenance requests are just as bad as some of the worst apartments you can imagine. Took over two months the first time I requested something simple and the second time I got my step ladder and did it myself. They lied to me to keep me in my lease when I wanted to buy it out to leave. They charged me at the end for random damages that I didn't do. I not only did not get my deposit back, but I owe. The recent reviews don't honestly seem real, but people can decide on their own at this point. I never met one neighbor who felt they made a good decision and they're fantastic at making it seem okay on property when it's a nightmare behind closed doors. For the money you can definitely do better, so take the time, slow down and don't be in awe over the "beauty". But my review stands at this point, I wasn't even going to make it until they sent me the final bill (a bill they forgot to send until I emailed over and over). I genuinely wanted to let go and have peace. So if the staff wants to resolve my concerns about charges I'd seriously update my review to reflect the service/resolution. But as of now, I've never received a single good interaction from anyone at this property. ***I reached out and they didn't change a single thing, there was no new resolution. I paid fees I shouldn't have after move out and they didn't try to resolve it. I just wanted to update since they commented, I don't want anyone to think that went somewhere positive.***
