  Absolutely DO NOT buy one of these homes. We’ve had to replace just about everything in less than 2 years. Electrical, appliances, cabinet doors just fall off, rusty toilets, plumbing hookups, lighting fixtures, door knobs & locks, faucets, sinks, that’s just what’s on the top of my head. This house has drained us of everything we had in the last 2 years. Now we’re just stuck paying for something cheaply built and falling apart and something we cannot even call a home.

  Let me start by saying Clayton home dealers are like used car salesman. Great customer service, but they want you to buy that lemon. It's been 2 years now and everyday I find a new fault with this house. It's like it was built by a 5 year with safety scissors (I can say that cause I'm autistic.) I'll start with the worst first. My wife and I went on a vacation to come back to the house with mold everywhere in the master bathroom. Hired a plumber and found out the shower wasn't built to code and was leaking since we had the house. Also it looks like they punched a hole in the floor to route the pipes... That's why there is a giant mouse nest in the first picture. Next, when we had the house delivered they refused to rotate it the way we wanted it because of "drainage and level ground" well explain why theres puddles under my house and why we've had a concrete pillar collapse under our house. THE HOUSE ISN'T EVEN LEVEL!! I knew where the house needed to go because of that issue. Furthermore, we were cleaning the cabinets out and there are gaps in every cabinet where it meets the wall. The front and back stairs wobble as much as Aunt Mertle on Thanksgiving day. When we kick on the master bathroom fan the bedroom lights turn on... Water heater has a pool of water under it, there's a bunch of staples in the walls in random places, front door and storm door aren't properly sealed, dishwasher leaks on the ground, and to top it off, none of the doors would properly close so we had to go out and buy all new door knobs.

  Brian was welcoming and warm. He began to ask us standard questions and I had to let him know we are from out of state and we wouldn't be buying from him, however we would still like to look at what he had on the lot with the intentions of finding something and bringing that information back home. He said okay I can do that, and grabbed his jacket and keys. He was wonderful. He had a positive attitude, answered all of our questions, as well he gave us so much information on every home we looked at as well as plenty of options to change. He treated us as if we were going yo be an actual customer. He is refreshing and made sure to make us feel as if he was really interested in showing us around. If we were local we would absolutely do business with him.

  Our house burned down, so we went back to Clayton to get another home. They were quick to find out our preferences. We went and looked at the options and were able to find what we wanted with very little fuss. Everyone we have worked with there is polite and eager to help every step along the way.

  Wonderful staff and beautiful houses. The staff was very helpful and answered ally questions. Nice style and great selection of houses
