  Our experience at Chapel Lakes was unfortunately disappointing. When we moved in, we were promised new tile flooring, but instead found dirty carpet with visible stains. The apartment also had not been properly cleaned — we discovered old rags in the closet, containers left in the kitchen, and personal items such as a teeth retainer and makeup brushes in the bathroom. Oh, the bedroom was horribly drenched with cigarette smoke that I had to carpet clean myself twice in order to get the smell out. Management was unhelpful and at times disrespectful throughout most of our lease, which made the situation even more frustrating. While Tiffany was courteous and more helpful toward the end of our stay, we would not recommend living here due to the lack of professionalism, unfulfilled promises, and unnecessary stress we experienced at the beginning and through out our lease.

  Chapel Lakes is an awesome community. Relocating can be a difficult task, but the staff at Chapel Lakes made my move from one city to another effortless. Ms. Tiffany and Ms. Rae are always available no matter when you call on them for assistance. I don't believe there has ever been a time that I reached out to office staff and they were not willing to help me. They are always gracious and understanding which helps a lot. The maintenance crew is also wonderful. Chris has helped me out whenever I needed assistance with things around my apartment. Not to mention, this is one of the most beautiful properties around the area. Even the grass is beautiful. If I could give Chapel Lakes 10 stars, I definitely would. If you are looking for somewhere safe, quiet, and clean to move, this is the place.

  The ladies in the front office are amazing. They do everything they can to make sure we are happy. The maintenance men are really nice. I don't like corporate though. They are cheap and raising rent costs every renewal even when some apartments are not getting the same upgrades. The office made a list of all of my complaints and they are working to get it fixed.

  This place is outdated and appliances are falling apart. We just now got a new microwave after several work orders put in to fix it only for it to break again. The same thing is happening with our oven and dishwasher. We pay almost 1300 a month for our 3 bedroom apartment and that cost is not worth this place. The only positive is you do have nice square footage but that is it. Oh and for living here 5 years and always on time with our rent and this past month we were late one day due to the confusion on the website portal pay, (not our fault), and they charge you an extra $140 late fee on top on your rent. There is no grace period or discounts for even one of the most loyal customers in the area. The ancillary charges are $200 dollars and half the time the gym has been closed and can't be used. The pool stays gross a lot of the time. When our lease is up we will be sure to move out of here. The owners are money stingy and could care less about their clients much less the conditions in which they live in. On a positive note the office staff is wonderful, friendly, and tries their best to serve the clients needs, but ultimately they can only do so much because the company itself calls the shots. It is a corrupt company.

  AR Building is completely inflexible regardless of your situation. Find a different place to live.
