  My son moved here and was on bottom floor had a older lady lived up stairs and she had a medical condition that the apartment staff shared with my son after he moved in so not even a month he tired to move because he did not feel at peace there . They told us they just needed 30 day notice which he gave but they made him pay two months rent and did not even live there until they decided to put someone in the apartment which was the only one bedroom open so I feel like they took advantage of him because he was young and did not want to mess his credit up. He did a check off list when he moved in and they did not fix any of the items the property landscaping was not in good shape walking the dogs at night was a trip hazard and you should see how the trash dumpster looked everyday I have pictures and it a mess. I do not recommend this apartment complex!!

  Management extremely invasive, was sending messages out asking about other ppl cars . Never received last month final notice or a email about final notice before moving. Got a call from a collections agency about fees that no once disclosed. Lead manager stopped notifying when my mail was at the front office, waited on an important document for weeks I didn’t even know it arrived until the sender told me. Targeted specific groups with police calls, when I went to the office I heard one of the managers giggling on the phone with maintenance saying they wanted to scare people. Not the only complaint about this from residents.

  Don't get caught up in the positive reviews they are almost all 5 years old or older!!!! I lived here for over two years. During my stay I had ankle surgery and lived on second floor apartment. The handrail was broken on stairs and maintenance had not fixed so I repaired temporarily. When maintenance did look at handrail they said it looked good to them and left it broken. Twice they pulled the fuses from my AC unit during the Alabama Summer saying unit was running too much causing it to freeze up instead of repairing unit. Garbage stays piled up because the one dumpster is not big enough. Then they send out letters to residents complaining about trash setting outside of dumpster. When I was ready to move I had them sign my moving form indication I was moving out by the 3rd due to new place letting me move in on 1st and I had a professional cleaning company coming to clean apartment on the 2nd. Management agreed and signed release form. Cleaning company cleaned apartment from top to bottom including walls and cleaning carpet. After I moved they tried to charge me $800 for rent, carpet cleaning, and missing internet modem that they make you use because it is included in the monthly rent. I could not and cannot believe the nerve of SweetWater Management. The fourth manager since I moved in! Beware if you decide to live here they will make you regret it when you leave!

  We have been here for several years. My husband and I have some health issues and are thankful for the "maintenance free" living. We have had very few issues with anything breaking, but as soon as it's called in Joe or Chris come that afternoon. The grounds are kept immaculately by a contract company. Joseph, the leasing agent, will be glad to show you whatever is available. You will love the Sweetwater life!!
