  I’ve been living at The Gardens for about 8 years, and unfortunately, things have steadily gone downhill. The rent has increased significantly—from around $700 to now $1,136 for a one-bedroom apartment—which would be understandable if the quality of the property improved, but that hasn’t been the case. On top of that, residents are charged an additional $36 just to pay rent, which feels excessive. The amenities are in poor condition: the pool area and décor look run down, the jacuzzi rarely works, and the tanning bed bulbs are either outdated or half of them don’t function at all. Maintenance and upkeep are clearly lacking. The buildings and balconies have never been pressure washed, and overall property care feels almost nonexistent. For the amount of money being charged, it’s disappointing to see so little reinvestment into the community. Another concern is the constant turnover in management—it seems to change every year, and with each new lease, promises are made about improvements that never happen. At this point, it feels like ownership is more focused on raising rent than maintaining the property or caring about the residents’ experience. After 8 years, I expected better. Do better.

  Tori was very knowledgeable about the property and the units she showed us and was a great help from start to finish , we would definitely recommend coming to see her about renting an apartment from The Gardens.
